6 months have passed. There have been days where he has cried his heart out, days he was ready to take over the world in his new career and days where all he wanted to do was go back home to his father. But despite the range of emotions he felt, Tay stayed true to his word and never faltered no matter how tempting it was.

Not many people had contacted him back from Thailand. Obviously, his father had made it his priority to check in on his son every chance he could to ensure he was truly doing okay, not just saying he was. He even had Tay's secretary report on any sudden changes in his behaviour in attempt to protect his son and be for him despite them being separated by a large body of water.

But there was also Kinn who sent Tay and email every now and then just to let him know he was sorry for everything he did. He often expressed his regret for not truly believing others when they told him Time was cheating on Tay. Kinn for one had never seen it for himself and knowing how competitive and dirty this industry was, he assumed that they were baseless rumours which were merely aimed at tarnishing Time's reputation.

Kinn was living in a fantasy world. He often observed Tay and Time's relationship as a perfect one filled with nothing but romance and respect. And so when he saw Tay with Vegas, he didn't want neither Tay nor Time to lose each other as a partner because Kinn always thought they were a perfect match for each other. He explained this over and over in the emails he had sent to Tay every now and then. He knew he was wrong. He knew it wasn't his place. He thought he was doing the best for his best friends by giving them the opportunity to work things out. Kinn had even thought Time stayed with Tay that night he walked in on Tay with Vegas and hoped Time and Tay would work things out during that week away from everyone. But it was too late when he learnt that Time never bothered to see Tay once and was indeed the one who cheated on him because Tay was long gone and hadn't bothered to respond to his emails in the past 6 months.

Kinn had even begged Tay's father to tell him where he was. He didn't want to be that person who sent out a search party for his friend. He wanted to do this the right way and wanted Tay to tell him when he was comfortable to meet again, if they ever could. Kinn wanted to apologise in person for how he wronged Tay, but Tay wasn't ready for anything of this nature. His past was his past and was going to stay in the past.

Kinn's emails eventually got less desperate. He stopped begging Tay to tell him where he was. He just started wishing the best for him and told him repeatedly that he was always there for him no matter what. And Tay did appreciate the sentiment. He just wasn't ready to face that heartbreak again.

Tay missed Vegas. He missed him so much that his heart ached when he went to sleep and ached even more when he was invited to his colleges' weddings or saw couples when he went out. He so desperately wanted to experience that. Being a real and official couple out in the open for everyone to see and marvel at, but for Tay and Vegas, for the most part all of their interactions were kept a secret and hidden from everyone and that was okay. Showing off and being out in public was a nice to have. They knew their circumstances and so grew to needing to just be in each other's presence but even that got taken away from them...

Tay wasn't ready to let go. In fact, he was never ever going to get over Vegas. Tay was someone who was always popular in both high school and collage and so constantly being adored by men and being in the most incredible romantic relationships where he was treated like a prince, was not a new experience for him. He loved the attention and gifts and knew how to please others in a relationship, but nothing has ever felt like what he had with Vegas. He loved Vegas so much that it was impossible to describe the feeling. It was as if they were to magnets who couldn't be separated that's how deep his desire ran to be around the other. And when they were together, Tay was always in a state of euphoria, that he felt like he could fly at times...
