Chapter 1

The past few days having been hell for me; even though I knew it has happened on several occasions before this, I still couldn't come to terms with what Time has done. Why was I so passive about how I felt? He had actively shown interest in another man while I was standing right next to him. And if I hadn't known any better, I am certain, when we all had passed out from drinking too much, Time had had sex with him somewhere in the back of Hum bar.

I stood in front if the mirror and pulled myself together. I still didn't understand why I was putting up with Time. If I didn't make him happy I should let him go right? I mean even I wasn't all that happy in this relationship. We were affectionate when others were around but in reality he treated me nothing more than a random friend of his.

Going to Hum bar that was supposed to be such an exciting experience. Porsche was convinced Tankhun would have the time of his life. And I mean we all did. The atmosphere, the music, the drinks, everything was just perfect for a night to celebrate. But then Time had to go and ruin it. Part of me was annoyed that Porsche had brought his friends over but I knew it was wrong to blame Porsche and Tem. No one knew Time was going to be a two timing jerk.

If there was one thing I prided myself with was my appearance. I loved dressing up and used every excuse to and today was one of those nights...The Diamond Auction.

Today was a big day for Kinn and I was happy for him now that he was assuming his role as the head of the Major family. But that meant if I came along, there could be no drama or problems. Any excuse for the Minor family to find fault in the Major family was not ideal.

The Minor Family...I smiled at the thought. Wicked. I know. Why would I smile at the opposing family that seemed to hate us so much? But can you blame me? Vegas Theerapanyakun... Just the thought of him brought a smile to my face.

I have never actually met Vegas personally. I have only watched him from a distance. He seemed like such a complicated person with so many unknown mysteries.

The last I'd seen him was when the Minor Family came over for their regular visit. I don't think he even noticed me, but I couldn't help but focus on him.

Vegas was a mesmerizing character. He was manipulative, deceiving and very violent. And no one at all could mess with him. Even with Kinn around, Vegas still dominated. Fuck, he was so hot. But this was a crush that would never get acted on. I knew I couldn't betray Kinn like that.
