Chapter 18: Interest in the Occult

It was like everybody knew that they needed partners before the festival even started because almost everybody got paired up immediately. And some of said pairs got paired up with other pairs to make teams of four. And of course, some others just went in threes.

When he saw Oijiro alone, Bendy thought that maybe they could pair up. After all, there was a little connection with both of them having tails.

"Hey, do you wanna-"

"Sorry, Yaoyorozu, but I don't think that's a good idea...", Oijiro rubbed the back of his head.

"Huh?"

"It's just, you can't exactly be the horse. And if you're the rider, then how are you going to put the headbands around your head?", he made gestures that seemed to be referring to the size of the demon's head, "I just don't think it'll be a good idea."

Oijiro walked off and made Bendy wonder how it would work. The cartoon's head was quite large and the headbands were made for normal sized heads. But maybe someone won't realize that!

Bendy looked around to see if anybody else didn't have a partner when he spotted someone he hadn't seen in a while.

Komori Kinoko. From what he had seen on the leaderboard, she was accepted into class 1-b instead of class 1-a.

He went to her, "Hey, do you wanna team up?"

She looked him up and down, "I thought you were from America, shroom."

"What are you talking about?"

"Well, you spoke English when you yelled at all the classes. But your name is Bendy Yaoyorozu. And I'm assuming you must be related to Momo Yaoyorozu. But she doesn't have the same problem... were you adopted, shroom?

Komori already knew this... so why... "Yeah... but I thought you already knew that. Unless I forgot to tell you... wait. You've seen me speak English plenty of times outside of that time!"

She shook her head, "I haven't met you before, sorry, shroom.", Kinoko walked off. Leaving a very confused and sad friend. How could she forget him... they hadn't separated that long ago...

Another girl from class 1-b, Kendo Itsuka if he remembered her name correctly, approached him, "Do you know her?"

"I... I thought I did...", he looked down.

"Sorry about that, Komori-san got a head injury the morning before classes first started. She remembers most things but forgot some stuff. At least, that's what she told me."

"Thanks... Kendo, was it?"

"Yep! I had to explain that to your friend, Bakugo, too. If I didn't, Komori would've probably ended up dead. Not like I would've allowed it! Good luck, by the way."

Kendo ran off to either her team or to find a team. Hold on, if Bakugo knew, why the heck didn't he tell him and Midoriya about that? But then comes another issue, the whole memory loss thing.

Did she forget everything? Well, it seems like she forgot about Bendy and Bakugo. But was that it? Hopefully so, though it'd be quite unfortunate that one of the only things she forgot about was himself.
