Over one year ago

Bendy sat patiently on one of the many couches housed in the Yaoyorozu manor. Or rather, mansion, by the usual definition of the word. If it were a manor, there would be a lot of land surrounding it.

He was glad that wasn't the case though, as even imagining having to walk all that way from school made him feel exhausted.

It wasn't like the demon chose to walk to school and back, exactly. Rather, it was because Momo went to an entirely different school than him. Why that was, he had no idea. He didn't think of it much, well not in the beginning anyways.

Apparently when he first came here, around 3 months ago, his sister had been on her summer break, so she had plenty of free time. Before school started, Momo had explained to him that in Japan schools started in April instead of August like American schools, but both countries had long summer breaks. Though, honestly he hadn't known about that either.

Anyways, the issue he had now was that Momo's  school was around an hour away. And that's not including traffic. And since school finished for her at the same time, that meant he had to wait over an hour before anyone was home.

And there was only so much he could do to occupy himself before boredom kicked in. Thankfully, the clock struck 4 before he knew it. Bendy could hear the door click open soon after.

The two Yaoyorozus who entered seemed to be laughing about something before it was interrupted by a phone's ringing, "Sorry, honey, I have to go back to the office now. See you tonight!", the door clicked once again.

It wasn't long until Momo entered the room he was in. Probably because the demon was in the next room over. She scanned the room and after identifying where her brother could be found, she sat right by his side.

"How was your day?", she smiled.

He smiled back, "It was good! Midoriya-kun said I couldn't go watch his training today, though.", he huffed softly at that last sentence.

"Well, that makes time for you to train, right?", she reasoned.

The demon let out a small chuckle, "Heh, yeah. And how about you?"

"Hmm? Oh, nothing special."

It was at that moment that Bendy finally decided to ask his burning question, "Why can't I go to school with you?"

Momo froze. Her eyes darted from furniture to furniture. She pressed her fingers together, briefly looking at her brother before looking away once more.

The demon cocked his head, his face softened, "Is everything alright, Momo-chan?"

Whatever spell Momo was under quickly dissipated and she finally looked firmly into his eyes, though it was obvious the topic was sensitive, "It's no big deal! You just... well you don't meet the requirements for my school, that's all."

"What type of requirements?"

Once again, the girl froze up, though it didn't last as long, "Well, it's a prestigious school and... well it's not that you're not intelligent, Bendy-kun, but... you're not to their liking."
