It was a pretty good day, Bendy would say.

The lights were exceedingly bright but comforting. The chair he sat in was surprisingly comfortable. He was surrounded by both familiar and new faces. He had even gotten a pretty good night's sleep for his standards.

Oh, and he was also standing trial for the assault of three men...

...Let's rewind to two days ago, shall we?

The sound of a beeping alarm was what finally woke the demon up after a semi-restful night of sleep. Now, after being woken up, what does he do?

Check his emails, of course! Something everyone his age does.

"I think I need to switch emails..." he said after seeing a good 10 spam messages. One from some telephone company, two from some pyramid scheme he accidentally gave his email to 5 months ago, another 5 were just plain phishing scams, one from some guy named Shota, and one from-

Wait, that wasn't any guy named Shota. That was his teacher!

He immediately clicked on it and found a quite short email from Aizawa:

Please come to the police station on Ika Street at noon. Tsukauchi found someone claiming to be from your "dimension". Also, I need to tell you something and it can't wait.

Surprisingly honest for the guy. If a little vague about the location. There's not only one Ika street in all of town. In fact, his middle school was on Ika Street!

...and so was the nearest police station. Well, at least Bendy wouldn't need to get his mom to drive him there

He really didn't want his mom finding out about this. He didn't want anybody finding out about this. Plus, it would be hard to explain why his teacher wanted to talk to him completely outside school hours without mentioning that this wasn't a school issue.

So, even though he hated it, Bendy could only do one thing:

Lie

The demon redid his bandages, which he had gotten so good at he didn't even need a mirror, and went to go see his mom, "Mom, can I go out for a couple hours," he smiled.

"Of course! Just get back before 5," she almost went back to what she was doing but stopped, "Oh, and do you have your phone with you?"

Bendy didn't since he was half-certain his mom had put tracking on it ever since the USJ incident, " 'Course I do!" he lied.

"Alright, then have a good time!"

It wasn't a long walk to the police station. Honestly, it was shorter than he remembered.

Something he had feared on the way there was getting in the station to begin with. It wasn't all that normal for a teenager to willingly walk in there, nevermind without their parents.

But, thankfully, that fear was diminished when he saw Aizawa exiting his car. Only for it to come back when he quickly shuffled inside the building without acknowledging him.
