"Mommy?" Y/N looked up from the stew she was cooking "Hi hun" She smiled as Loki rubbed his eyes, still crusted from the nap he took "Wat hapen? Is mommy make nummy?" Y/N moved over so Loki could come closer and see for himself, he took the opportunity and looked at the stew "Tew?" He glanced back at her, head tilted "Yup, stew" Loki squealed excitedly before running back to his nap spot and plopping down
A few minutes of stirring and the stew was ready "Babyboy! Come get your food!" Y/N waited for the patter of feet but it never came so she grabbed his and her bowl, making her way to the living room to find Loki sleeping again. Y/N put down the bowls and shook him slightly, him waking up slightly startled "It's okay my love, I just need you up so you can eat okay?" Loki calmed at her words and grabbed the spoon, slowly eating his stew
By the time Loki finished it was dark and Y/N was almost done washing dishes "Mommy i dun" He rushes over with the bowl so she can take it, when she does he rushes back and grabs his blanket to sleep. A few minutes of cleaning and Y/N can finally go check on Loki, she grabs the newest pacifier and walked over to his spot where he was fast asleep, plopping the paci in his mouth she grabbed the blanket and pulled it over his shoulder.
Loki had been sick all week with strep, so hot soup has been his diet, and thats caused him to sleep more. While Y/N read her book she listened to the sickly snores, sighing she gets up to bring the humidifier out of their room and next to Loki's head. Eventually his snoring sounds more clear, Y/N worry subsiding for now as she lays back in her own chair.
"He been such a sleepy prince" she thought.
