<•—•> Samantha Harrington was a well-known female in the town of Hawkins, Indiana. Although some knew her for her relationship with her older brother, Steve, most knew her for her many encounters with the police. Yes, Samantha Harrington was a troublemaker. To pass the time she would break into places, "steal" (after she had stolen she gave back whatever she took), and did anything she could to annoy Jim Hopper, chief of police.

Samantha was a very popular person, but she had decided to befriend the town's nerdiest and dorkiest kids. Will Byers, Mike Wheeler, Dustin Henderson, and Lucas Sinclair never knew why Samantha chose them to befriend. She was a badass and they were the people who got bullied and played Dungeons and Dragons all day long.

Although nobody knew why she chose the dorks to befriend, Samantha had chosen them because she knew they were the nicest kids she could've become friends with. She had loved every second of time spent with the boys, even though sometimes she had to sit through ten hours of their D&D campaigns. If she could go back in time, she would choose them over and over and over again.

Samantha Harrington's parents were people who were nonexistent in her life. They would always be on business trips and the house would be eerily quiet. Her and Steve had always had a good relationship, but they weren't attached to the hip. She kept her fair share of secrets and so did he.

Samantha was an overthinker. Everything was always jumbled in her brain and she would always be thinking about a million things at once. Her mind moved a million miles a second. One second she would be thinking about the science homework due tomorrow, the next she'd be thinking about what to wear to school, and then she'd be wallowing in self-pity over how she never had loving parents and forget about everything else that was important.

This year, she wanted everything to be different. She wanted Hawkins to be more eventful. Everything was always the same and it was so boring that she had to resort to having the cops chase her, which she didn't mind.

And although she had no idea, her wish was about to come true.

DISCLAIMER

i do not own stranger things or anything related to it. i don't own any plot lines and characters besides my own. also, none of the gifs i use are mine.

i also made the fic in a way where you can use your imagination to create samantha. I did have a person in mind who matches what i think she looks like, but y'all can use your imaginations!

there isn't anything mature in this book besides some mild language. i didn't think it was necessary to publish it as mature but if you would like, i can change that.

a/n: anyways, I haven't published anything in like 37 years so I decided to start writing randomly when I feel like it and I felt like it right now so here I am, writing about one of the loves of my life. I'm gonna write season one cuz why not so if y'all don't wanna read the book without max y'all are gonna have to wait a while cuz it's gonna take me so long to write the whole season I'm literally crying knowing how much time it'll take. Also, the fact that I'm writing this when school is literally about to start in a week for me is actually killing me. anyways, now that I'm done with my ramble I hope y'all enjoy my masterpiece of a book.
