<•—•> "You look nice." Steve told his younger sister as she put in her black bow to hold her hair back.
"Thanks." Sam gave a small smile before they left. Today was Will Byers' fake funeral. She faked being sad and once the funeral ended she went to Joyce and hugged her with a smile.
"We'll find him," Sam whispered and Joyce smiled, nodding her head.
"Yeah." She agreed. Sam let go and smiled again before heading off with her brother. She could tell Steve didn't want to be there and she was glad he had gone just for her.
"I'll be back." She whispered to him before heading off to the bathroom. She could tell a vision was coming as the ringing in her ears slowly intensified. She willed herself to think about where the gate was. She gasped as she saw Hopper at the gate before someone grabbed him and injected something into him. Her eyes opened wide. She left the bathroom quickly, rushing to find the boys. They sat with Mr. Clarke and she heard him say something about the world being swallowed.
"Hey, guys." She faked a sad smile before pulling them away from Mr. Clarke.
"What the hell?" Mike questioned.
"I know how to find the gate," Sam told them. The four of them eagerly waited for the end of the funeral before they rushed to Mike's house.
"So, this will sound really weird, but we need Hopper." She told the group.
"Huh!?" They all let out sounds of disagreement.
"Listen. I saw a vision of him at the gate before a man injected something into him. I have no clue where it was, but Hopper knows." She explained.
"Give me all of your compasses!" Dustin suddenly exclaimed.
"What?"
"What does that have to do with anything?"
"What the hell, man?"
"Just give me them!" Dustin yelled. Mike rolled his eyes before grabbing every compass he could find. Dustin faced them all in the same direction.
"I'm sorry, is there a point to this?" Samantha questioned with a roll of her eyes.
