Luna's POV
"I think Caspar should be the female lion!" Lithe told me, putting my long hair into an elegant up-do.
"What? What is that supposed to mean? You know I hate everything to do with that daft swine." I replied, applying bright red lipstick to my lips. I shook my short pixie cut hair to make it volumous.
"It was just a thought. Sorry, Your Majesty." She stepped back and gave a curtsy. "You look lovely, Your Majesty."
"Thank you. Now bring me my crown. The King of Elinty is arriving in one hour. I have to be in my throne soon," I told her.
She quickly rushed to a cabinet and took out a key, unlocking it and bringing a crown covered in glittering jewels, then walked back and placed it on my head.
"If I may ask so, Your Majesty, why do King and Queens always seem to be in their throne? Do they just... Sit there? I mean obviously not but...." she asked as I stood up, my red gown flowing behind me.
"That is an excellent question, Lithe. Quite honestly I don't know. Ask Lacy or something."
We both exited my chambers, walking straight to the throne room. I glanced back and saw Lithe walking behind me, glancing around in case anyone was following us.
Her hair was dark brown, and thick, stopping just below the shoulder. Her eyes were chocolate, always filled with happiness, even at the times when she was sent to kill.
Entering the throne room had gotten a little easier since my coronation, but it was still overwhelming to think that it was actually mine.
I walked to my throne and sat in the quite comfortable chair. Lithe started speaking of what to say and how to act, which she had said over a billion times. I knew everything, so I just tuned out.
It seemed to go on for hours. However, after a while voices could be heard from outside the doors, and suddenly, they opened.
"The King of Elinty," someone announced, and a surprisingly handsome young man walked forward, stopping at the foot of the throne.
He was tall, almost six inches taller than me, with dazzling green eyes and light brown hair.
"Your Majesty, Queen Luna Ravenrose. It is quite an honor." He leaned forward and took my hand, kissing the back of it as all gentlemen should do.
"I welcome you, King William. The honor is all mine," I replied, a smile tugging at my lips.
He stood and beckoned to one of his servants, who brought forth a long something wrapped in cloth.
"This, my lady, is for you. It is a gift to thank you for your hospitality," he said, taking the cloth off and revealing a staff, completely silver and tipped with a large ruby.
He bowed again and held the staff out, which I picked up and examined it.
"Thank you Ling William. This is quite appreciated. I do assume that your journey was long and tiresome. Shall I show you to your room?" I asked, and he winked at me playfully.
"Oh that would be lovely. Shall we?"
Servants rushed forward to guide us, but I shooed them off, standing and offering my arm to the king.
He took it with his own and we walked down the halls and to not his room, but mine, where I promptly shut the door and grinned at him.
"Ooooh my Luna that was dreadful. Having to pretend I have never met you when I know you. All of you," he breathed, rushing forward and beginning to kiss my neck.
We had been visiting each other for a while, traveling with magic and... well... you can guess what we did.
"It was awful. But now we can do whatever we wish," I said, but couldn't speak anymore since William had started kissing me fiercely.
--------------------------------------------
I walked through the dark castle, not for anything, just to wander. It was a full moon, and I could here howling occasionally from off somewhere outside the castle.
The balcony above the garden was always a favorite spot of mine, so naturally I ended up there, casually lighting a cigarette. I breathed in the smoke and exhaled, suddenly more calm.
It seemed that the smoke caused my fangs to appear, and so out they came, piercing my lip and drawing blood. I swallowed it and sighed happily. Everything was perfect.
A/n:
HEEEEEEY WELCOME BACK. So remember Luna is all weirded and her memories were twisted by Lacy. And also, yes I realize she is cheating on Caspar but not really her fault since Lacy made her think they were never together and that she hated him sooooooooo. Don't worry. It'll get better.
