Leah Williamson: The Bond.

Number 4: Good News and Jordan Nobbs

I sat talking with Leah until Ella physically dragged me out the door. I knew it was 2am but I couldn't bring myself to leave Leah.

"I'll have to go. Fans these days"
I looked at Ella while saying this. I saw a giggle leave Leah's lips,

"Your funny you. Here, can I've your number?"

I was in shock, shaking while I took Leah's phone. Ella pulled me out the door, but able to give Leah a quick wave before the door closed behind us.

"What is going on there Abs? Did I see a smile? Or am I incredibly drunk?"

"Both Els. Both."

We had an uber waiting outside for Ella, Alessia and I. Alessia was already waiting in the car, looking disappointed. It was a silent drive home. Alessia didn't look good. I knew at that moment it didn't go well with Millie.

We got back to the apartment, and Alessia quickly ran into her room. I ran straight after her.

"Hey. Hey Les? You wanna talk to me?"
I said, while cradling her in my arms.

"She said she'd have to think about it. She wasn't sure. I don't want to ruin a friendship. Abs this is the first time I've been honest. I don't want it to be the last."

"It won't Les, I promise. You just give Millie a bit of time. It's not even a bad answer!"

Alessia wiped her tears,
"I saw you and Leah."

"What about it? We were just talking."
Alessia just laughed.

"I am not being attacked tonight,"
I said while tickling Les gently.

"Night night Les."

"Goodnight Abs."

I walked into my own room, took my makeup off, got changed and into bed. I looked at my phone.

I thought about Leah until I drifted slowly to sleep. I just wanted to know why she had such a choke hold over me, after a long conversation.

I woke up, the clock saying 11:04am. I hate to say it but I dreamt about Leah. Yes. You heard it right. I don't understand. She's conflicted every feeling i've had. Confusing, right?

I put on my favourite pair of fluffy socks and went over to Alessia's room. I climbed into bed beside her.

"How's my big sis?"

"I'm alright. Millie texted me."
Alessia read the text out loud. It read;

'Alessia. I'm sorry for the way I acted last night. I should've thought about your feelings more. I do like you too, I just don't think I was ready to say it last night. We see where things go from here? Thanks love x'

"AHHHHHH! Alessia!"

Ella rushed through the door, hearing my excited screams.

"What's happened?"

I blurted out,

"Millie likes Alessia!"

We all sat and hugged for a long amount of time. I loved these girls with all my heart. I think I would catch a grenade for them, all thanks to Bruno Mars for that idea. But in seriousness, they are my favourite people.

We all scattered after a while. I decided I was going for a walk. There was a little river that ruins a couple miles from our apartment. My favourite spot, consisting of a rock, sitting parallel to the river happened to be taken. I knew I had seen that ponytail before. I got closer, not wanting to embarrass myself if I was wrong.

"Hi stranger. You got a sore head?"
Leah looked up and smiled once she saw me.

"Actually I was sober last night. I just like to come here and think."
Leah amazed me in many ways.

"We'll i'm sorry Leah but this is my exact spot for thinking."

"Share it with me?"

I sat down beside Leah, her hand went straight to my lower thigh. We looked into each others eyes. We didn't break eye contact until Leah closed her eyes. Her head was slowly moving closer towards mine. I followed her lead, and soon our lips gently touched, as fireworks ignite metaphorically behind us. I knew she felt the same, I felt a grin explode onto Leah's face.

Leah quickly pulled away after, muttering something under her breath. "Fuck, Jordan." She rushed off, thinking I didn't hear what she said. But I did. I heard the two words that made me hate Leah Williamson.
