I am living a dream. We managed to top the group stages, conceding no goals. It was the summer we all wished for, just none of us thought it would truly happen. We of course all believed in each other, knowing deep down we could do it, but it was just such a surreal pinch me moment of us. We had Spain in the Quarter finals. They are a big team. They're used to winning a lot. We had to win, not just for us but for everyone.

We had 3 days before we played them, and we were back at the hotel, everyone just taking time to ourselves.

I had brought myself down to the lobby, sitting on a comfy sofa, drinking a vanilla latte. I felt the sofa move from the other side. I turned to look and saw a surprising face. Leah.

"Hi Abby, how are you?" She spoke timidly.

I smiled at her presence, and her eyes. Those beautiful eyes.

"I'm alright thanks, are you okay?"

"Yeah I think so."

The silence lingered for a few minutes, before Leah plucked the courage to speak once more.

"Abby you don't have to say yes, but would you want to have a movie night with me? It doesn't have to be this camp, just whenever you feel comfortable."

"I would love that Lee, thank you." I got up and walked away, hiding my red cheeks and the smile plastered across my face. I went back up to my room, where Beth was lying on her bed. There was silence for a few minutes.

"Want to play a game?" Beth said, obviously bored out of her mind.

I just laughed at her, "What game to you want to play with just the two of us?"

Beth looked down at her phone, texting for a minute or so.

"Now it's not just two of us. Leah, Millie, Alessia, Ella, Keira and Lucy are all coming."

Beth has this thing that if she isn't doing anything, she just can't function. I've noticed it over the past few weeks. We are just total opposites, I need my alone time otherwise I can't function at all.

A knock on the door followed a few minutes later. Beth jumped up, practically sprinting to the door to open it. In walked the girls. Keira and Lucy took a seat on Beth's bed, Millie and Alessia on two chairs opposite and Leah was next to me, with Ella on the end of my bed. I don't know if Leah had done it on purpose, or if things just seemed to work out in her favour.

"I brought you this, I remembered you said you liked it." In her hand was a vanilla latte, which she timidly handed over to me.

It took me a split second to accept this, her hand brushing mind as I took it. I can't deny, the gentle touch set of an electric energy. I knew she felt it too, from the small smile that formed on her lips.

"What about a game of truth or dare?" Beth said, getting comfy on her bed. We all agreed, slightly wanting to play but also knowing it would keep Beth happy.

Keira was first to go. "Leah, truth or dare?"

Leah was fidgeting, she was nervous. "Truth."

"Has anyone caught your eye on camp?" Leah looked down at the floor. She thought about her answer for a while, or what seemed like it.

"Yes."

"Care to drop a name?" Lucy insisting.

"Now Lucy that's a secret I'm not spilling."

The game had moved on to Lucy asking Ella, I could feel someone staring at me. I turned to Leah, her eyes with a sparkle in them. We held eye contact until Ella shouted.
