**At the Exclusive Mall...**
"Which one do you think I should choose?" Suzy asks, holding up two stunning dresses.
"Suzy, you still didn't tell me how you knew I was at a café," Jimin replies, trying to mask his annoyance.
"You're so annoying today, Jimin! I just checked your location on my phone. It wasn't that hard," she answers bluntly.
Jimin turns off the location on his phone, frustrated. He couldn't help but think that if Suzy knew, then probably his father did too.
Suzy stood in front of a mirror, holding up two elegant dresses. She turned to her companion, Jimin, who wore a bored expression. Jimin despised shopping, especially when accompanied by someone he disliked. Nevertheless, he mustered a fake smile and replied, "I'm not sure; both dresses look quite beautiful."
The sales assistant, who had been observing the pair, chimed in with a bright smile.
"They both look STUNNING on you," she remarked, already aware that Suzy would likely purchase both dresses. Suzy had been a loyal customer for quite some time, and the sales assistant knew her taste well.
Suzy nodded in agreement and handed the two dresses to the designer. She delicately placed them on a table, joining a collection of twenty other garments.
Time seemed to pass slowly as they moved from one shop to another. Jimin found himself repeatedly reaching for his credit card, paying for more and more fancy designer clothes and accessories.
As the day wore on, Jimin's patience dwindled. He couldn't help but wonder how much longer this shopping spree would last. Yet, he remained by Suzy's side, enduring the endless cycle of purchases, forced by the current deal between the two families.
**Back to You...**
After finishing a long day of classes, you found yourself ambushed by your best friend, Liz, who blocked your path with her exuberant energy.
"Liz, I've already told you, I try to avoid certain places," you reminded her, hoping she would understand. But Liz, with her pleading eyes and irresistible charm, persisted.
"Please, please, pretty please," she begged, tugging at your heartstrings.
You stood there, silent and impassive, glaring into her eyes. However, you couldn't help but snort out a response, "Alright, you win."
Her face lit up with the largest smile in the world as she hopped and hugged you tightly. You mustered a small smile in return, knowing that as her friend, you had to accept her quirks. Despite being the daughter of the city's most prominent lawyers, Liz was one of the kindest people you had ever met. She treated you like an older sister and was always there to lend a helping hand.
Your friendship began on your first day at university, in a sculpture class. From that moment on, the two of you clicked and formed a bond that would last a lifetime. You shared similar interests and respected each other's differences. About 20 minutes later, the car finally arrived at the mall, ready to embark on your mission of finding evening dresses and elegant shoes.
Liz enthusiastically recapped your goal, emphasizing that each needed to find the perfect outfit. You were momentarily confused by her use of "each," but before you could question her, she whisked you away to a boutique, leaving no room for objections.
