Namjoon scribbled in his notebook, eyes flicking up every now and then to observe their expressions. "Legally speaking, I'm not sure I can give you 'her' address," he said, leaning back in his chair.

Be, unphased, poured himself a glass of water. "I'm willing to pay whatever you ask." He took a casual sip, his demeanor cool, almost too calm.

The younger man smiled, a slight twist to his lips. "Maybe I'll consider it."

Suzy's lips curved into a smirk, pleased with how things were turning in her favor. *Finally, Jimin will be mine.*She didn't care what it took—blackmail, ruining someone's life, she'd do whatever necessary to get rid of this mysterious "lover" in the way.

Mr. Bae set his glass down, smiling at Namjoon. "That's the answer I was hoping to hear."

Namjoon crossed his legs, turning his attention toward Suzy. "Can you tell me about your relationship with Park Jimin?"

Suzy flashed a small, almost mocking smile. "Jimin's my fiancé. We'll be getting married soon."

Namjoon jotted it down. "Is it an arranged marriage?"

The actress played with her hair. "It was real love, from the moment we first met."

*Love? * Namjoon scratched something into his notes—leeches—before continuing. "How did you two meet?"

Mr. Bae beamed, proudly running his hand through his daughter's hair. "I introduced them."

"Got it." *Arranged for business interests.* "And where was this?"

Suzy crossed her legs, her voice taking on a practiced air. "It was at the premiere of one of the films where I was the leading actress."

Namjoon scribbled in his notebook again. *Flexing.* "Do you know how long Jimin has been seeing this 'other' person?"

Suzy huffed, clearly irritated. "A week or two, maybe? I'm already tired of these questions."

The detective continued to take notes. "What made you suspect Jimin?"

Suzy tossed her hair over her shoulder, clearly annoyed. "He's been avoiding my calls, and when we're together, he acts like I don't even exist."

Namjoon felt his own surprise rising. *Just as I thought—love isn't exactly the word I'd use for this weird relationship.* He scratched his chin thoughtfully. *Is Jimin playing with her, or maybe she's the one pulling the strings?* He sighed inwardly, a grin tugging at the corner of his lips. *Not that it's my place to judge their mess.* "How long have you known him?"

"Two months," Suzy replied flatly.

Namjoon let slip a question he probably should've kept to himself. "Isn't that a bit quick for marriage?"

Mr. Bae's expression tightened immediately. "If they love each other, it's better to marry sooner than later."

Namjoon, sensing the shift in mood, quickly adjusted his tone. "I didn't mean to judge—just asking as part of the investigation."

Mr. Bae's tension eased slightly. "Fine."

Namjoon made a mental note. *Definitely a marriage of convenience. But who's benefitting more?* He was suspicious, thinking it might be the actress, but then again, she was already one of the highest-paid actresses. *It doesn't add up.* Flipping the page, he thought, *When I get home, I'll have to dig into Park Jimin and the company he's set to inherit.*

The detective asked, "Could you provide me with Jimin's address? If he has multiple, I need the one where he spends the most time."

"Of course," Mr. Bae replied smoothly.
