**Time slips by at Taehyung's place.**
He was getting ready for a night out with friends when Jimin crossed his mind. *Wonder how he's doing? It's been a minute since we went out together. I forgot to tell him I'v been accepted for the Stella competition*
Grabbing his phone, he dialed Jimin."Hey, Tae."
Taehyung smiled to himself, *Man, hearing his voice is always a vibe.* "Hey, Jimin. What's up, bro?""I'm good. You?"
"Same here. But honestly, I'd be even better if we hit the town together. It's been, what, two or 3 weeks since our last hangout? How about tonight?"
Jimin bit his lip, laughing a little, "You're not wrong. I've been super swamped, but tonight's not gonna work."Taehyung let out an exaggerated sigh, "Come on, man. Is your job really more important than ME your bestie? It's Sunday, and last time I checked, nobody works on Sundays. You sure you're not hiding something?"
Jimin chuckled, "Tae, Tae. It's not work this time—I've got plans with a friend."Taehyung didn't miss a beat, "Ohhh, and this friend is more important than me? Your best friend, right?" He leaned into the word 'best' as if it carried all the weight in the world.
Jimin ran his fingers through his hair, feeling the shift. *It's been so long since we hung out. Could this mess with our friendship?*
"You're right. I'd never ditch you bro. Here's the deal: I'll grab a quick drink with my other friend, one or two hours max, then I'll come find you, and we can hit the town." His tone was calm, but there was an undercurrent of hesitation.Taehyung sighed again, this time softer, "How about I just tag along with you guys, then we can all head out afterward?"
Jimin scratched his chin. *What would Namjoon think? Would he even care? Nah, it's probably chill. Besides, more fun with three than two.*
"Alright, cool. Meet me by the central train station in 15 minutes."
Taehyung practically jumped for joy, "See you soon, Chim!" and hung up, rushing out the door.
**Meanwhile, some hours before...**
Lunch—or maybe more like "lunch-dinner," considering it was already 3 p.m.—was going smoothly. Jin, your little brother Adam, and you were sitting around the table, enjoying a peaceful meal until your brother hit you with a question that made you choke on your food.
"Sis, what does 'brother-in-law' mean?"
The innocence in his voice made you freeze. *Where in the world did he hear that? * You coughed, struggling to catch your breath as Jin quickly passed you a glass of water. "Thanks, I'm fine," you muttered, still thrown off.
Jin chuckled, ruffling Adam's hair. "You've got a curious one here."
But Adam wasn't done. Staring directly at Jin, he repeated, "But what does it mean?"
Jin shot you a quick glance before trying to explain, "Well, Adam, it's like... when someone marries your sister—like, hypothetically speaking, of course—they become your family, your brother-in-law."
Adam's brows furrowed as he squinted at Jin, clearly still confused.
"I don't get it," he said, his tone frustrated but genuine.
