Suzy was in the middle of posing for a bridal magazine photoshoot when her thoughts drifted to Jimin.
"Stop, let's move on to the next dress. You've got ten minutes for a break," the director called out.
With a sigh of relief, Suzy's manager handed her a bottle of water. "Everything alright?"
Suzy took a sip, her thoughts distant. "Yeah, just thinking about Jimin."
"Want me to call him for you?" the manager asked, concern in her voice.
"Nah, I'll do it myself." Suzy pulled out her phone, casually dialing his number as she took another sip of her drink.
"Riiing... riiing.......The number you have dialed is currently unavailable. Please try again later."
Her grip tightened, and in a flash of frustration, she hurled the half-full bottle to the ground. "Grrrrr... why isn't he answering?!"
The entire team froze, startled by her outburst. The manager, ever patient, bent down to clean up the mess, while Suzy, completely unfazed, slipped out of the room without so much as a thank you or an offer to help.
**Meanwhile, at an exclusive golf club just outside the city...**
"Love, shall we take a break for some coffee?" Mrs. Bae asked sweetly.
Mr. Bae stretched and nodded. "Sure, dear. I just need to take this call. I'll join you in a minute," he said, waving his phone.
She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Of course, take your time," and headed toward the café.
As soon as she was out of sight, he answered the call. "Hello?"
Suzy's voice came through the line, frustrated. "Finally, you picked up, Dad."
His tone softened immediately. "Hey, princess. What's up?"
"It's Jimin. He's not answering his phone," Suzy whined.
"Maybe he's just busy?" Mr. Bae offered, trying to keep the mood light.
Her tone shifted, growing more accusatory. "He's not working today. I bet he's with his mistress."
The thought of Jimin cheating on his daughter sent a surge of anger through him, an almost primal rage. *If I ever get again my hands on him...*"Namjoon hasn't found her yet?"
Suzy's voice was tinged with sadness. "Not yet."
Mr. Bae clenched his fists. "Really?! I'll get to the bottom of this myself. I have to go, darling."
"Thanks, Daddy," she giggled, knowing he'd stop at nothing for her.
"It's the least I can do. Love you." He ended the call, immediately scrolling through his contacts to find Namjoon's number.
**Back at the cozy, family-owned restaurant by the river**
Namjoon sat beside you, completely unaware of the storm about to hit him. He was content, quietly appreciating your presence, while Yoongi sat across from you, a soft smile on his face.
