Half an hour later, the waitress entered Suzy's room with the ordered dessert.
"Here's your parfait, miss," she announced politely.
"Set it here," Suzy commanded, gesturing to the coffee table beside her.
"Where's Jimin?"
"The young master is by the balcony. He said he needed some fresh air," the waitress replied.
Jimin was indeed on the balcony, going over the PDF of your class timetable that one of his men had sent him. It was a welcome distraction from the facade he had to maintain with Suzy. After reviewing your schedule, he reluctantly decided it was time to return to the actress.
"Honey, it's getting late, and I really need to go. I have a lot of work to finish for tomorrow," he announced, his tone carefully neutral as he approached Suzy. She gazed at him, expecting something more. When he turned away, ready to leave, she quickly grabbed his wrist.
"Not even a kiss? Why are you so cold toward me? Maybe I should ask your father the reason," Suzy murmured, licking her lower lip in a suggestive way. Jimin, forced to play along, rushed back, gently taking her hand and placing a quick kiss on it.
"How cute. A true shyster," she commented, clearly amused by his discomfort.
"I'm off. Bye, beautiful," he forced out with a fake smile trying not gag as he could still feel the ghost of her hand's skin on his lips, the thought turning his stomach as he hurried to leave, desperate to get away.
As soon as he left the villa, he scrubbed his lips on a handkerchief, desperate to rid himself of any trace of her. The mere thought of Suzy repulsed him more than the wild rats he had once seen running around Paris.
**Returning to you... **
You had just arrived at your little brother Adam's football club, spotting him in the distance as he waved to his best friend, Stefan. You approached him, and when Adam saw you, he ran over with a bright smile.
"Hi, big sis!" he exclaimed, giving you a tight hug.
"Hi, Adam. How was practice?" you asked, affectionately ruffling his hair.
"Super great, sis," he beamed, his sweet smile lighting up his face. After bidding goodbye to his friends, the two of you began walking toward the bus station.
**At home...**
"Big sis, can you make me some baked potatoes?" Adam asked as you tied your apron.
"Sure thing," you smiled, preparing to start dinner.
"I also wanted to ask you something," Adam added, his tone a bit more serious.
"I'm all ears," you replied, curious about what was on his mind.
"Kevin, my classmate, got this super cool toy—a red remote control car with green flames on the sides. He showed it to me today, and it was so awesome, racing around as fast as lightning!" Adam's eyes sparkled as he recounted the day's events.
You could sense where this conversation was heading.
"So, I was thinking... maybe I could get one too? It's my birthday soon, and it would make me super happy to have one as a present so I can race with Kevin," he said smoothly, his hope evident.
