**You return to the two guys.**
Namjoon flashes his dimpled smile. "You're really good with kids."
You smile back, settling into your seat. "I've got an 8-year-old brother."
Namjoon nods. "Makes sense."
Jimin, who's been quiet, hands you a chocolate bar. "Here, take this."
You beam at him. "Oh, Minji, you're so sweet. Thanks its one of my favourites" You accept it gratefully.
As you start unwrapping it, you notice there are only two bars. Namjoon eyes the chocolate, clearly annoyed, while Jimin has already taken a bite from the other one.
You hesitate for a moment before looking at Namjoon. "Hey, want to split this?"
Namjoon glances at your hand but waves it off. "Nah, don't worry about it."
You insist, holding the bar out. "No, for real. A whole one's too much for me anyway. I'd be more than happy to share."
Namjoon finally gives in with a smile. "Alright, thanks." As you try to break it apart, the caramel starts stretching out in long, gooey strings. You laugh, struggling.
"Okay, this is a mess. How about this—if you don't mind, I'll take a bite, and the rest is yours?"
Namjoon, low-key appreciating your easy-going vibe, shrugs. "No problem, that works."
You take a bite and pass the rest to him. Namjoon blushes slightly, turning toward Jimin.
"Thanks, Jimin," he says, finishing the bar. Jimin had been watching the whole exchange, clearly annoyed but trying his best to hide it. His plan was to impress you and make Namjoon jealous, but the situation had totally flipped. Seeing how close you were getting to Namjoon was really eating him up.
*Damn it*
**After lunch...**
You glance at the boys. "Hey, can you tell me the time? I don't have my watch."
Namjoon smirked as he pretended to take his time searching for his phone. He was dragging it out, secretly hoping Jimin would check his Rolex, making you wonder about it.
Just as he was stalling, you passed by a watch and jewelry store full of watches. You paused, looking at the display window.
"Oh no! I've gotta run, I'm late for class. Bye, guys!" You dashed toward the bus stop.
Namjoon let out an exasperated sigh. He would've loved to spend more time with you, but he was still happy with how things went.
*Too bad this Minji minion was around... next time, we'll be alone.*
Meanwhile, Jimin was calm. Just seeing you, even for a short time, had a soothing effect on him—like a warm cup of tea or a good night's sleep. Even though he was about to go do one of the things he hated most in the world.
Today, he'd have to visit his father at the office to finally make it clear he wasn't going to marry Suzi and would be cutting ties with her family for good
