**About five minutes earlier...**

You step off the bus, ready to walk home since there's no direct line to your area in the evening.

That's when you spot a man at the edge of the bridge, his figure silhouetted against the fading light. You keep walking through the park, confused but curious. As you move closer, you watch him kick off his shoes, sending them flying into the water below.

You hear him shout something, but it's muffled by the distance.

*Wait, is he...? No way.* Your heart sinks as realization hits. Without thinking, you hurl your bag aside and break into a full sprint.

*Run, Y/N, run! Just a little further! I can stop him... I have to.*

"Stoooooooooooooooop!" You scream, but your voice drowns in the wind. Just as he's about to jump, you yank him back with all the strength you have left.

The man stumbles and crashes to the ground, not into the water as he expected, but onto the concrete of the bridge. Disoriented, he scratches his head and looks up, meeting your eyes. For a second, his eyes widen in recognition.

*Wait... is it really her?* Jimin, disheveled and clearly intoxicated, stares at you as if you're a mirage. His thoughts are a mess, but all he can focus on is you. His love. His precious desert rose, standing right in front of him.

"I must be in heaven, right? What are you doing here?" he blurts out, rubbing his forehead in confusion.

You're panting, barely able to catch your breath. "Are you okay?" you ask, concerned, but too tired a tipsy to think straight.

He doesn't respond, just gazes at you in silence. This wasn't the first time you've saved him.

*Why are you always there when I'm about to hit rock bottom?*

"Are you... my guardian angel?" he slurs, tears brimming in his eyes. His emotions start pouring out like a dam breaking.

You realize this isn't the time for questions. Without hesitation, you pull him into a hug, trying to calm him down. That's when he really starts to sob, realizing just how close he came to making the biggest mistake of his life.

You gently stroke his hair, wondering what kind of pain had pushed him this far. As you try to release him from the hug, he refuses to let go. Suddenly, he bends over and pukes all over you, and his designer suit.

*Great.* You grab a handkerchief from your pocket and help him clean up, guiding him to stand.

"What's your name?" you ask softly, trying to keep him grounded now that he's a bit calmer.

"Ji... Ji-min," he stutters, barely coherent.

"Alright, Jimin. Where do you live? I'll walk you home."

"NO!" He shouts, clutching your hand like his life depends on it.

"Okay, okay... how about I take you to a friend's place? Or maybe a relative? Or..." you hesitate, "a girlfriend?"

His sobbing intensifies at the word "girlfriend," and he crumbles to the ground again.

*Oh man... he's really going through it.,* you thought, hiccuping as you realized you also weren't in the best shape yourself. Jin made you drink quite a few glasses.

"You know," you say softly, "if you want to talk, I'm here. No judgment, I promise. Or maybe we could grab a hot drink or something sweet?"

He shakes his head, sniffling. "I don't wanna go home to my father."
