**Jin woke up in a very bad mood; he hadn't been able since yesterday to get the image of that guy coming out of your flat out of his mind.**
He absolutely had to find out who he was and get him out of the game as soon as possible. Plus, he wanted to confirm if it was the same guy sitting in the car in front of your apartment with whom he had made eye contact a few days ago.
In past days, as we remember, Jin even drastically removed all messages of a guy from your phone like a jealous kid.
"Perhaps with this other one, it will require something even more extreme, like removing him completely from the face of the earth... I'm just joking, of course," he giggled internally, fixing his hair.
After a bit, he reached his café and hastily unlocked the doors, then began to set everything for the day until he caught sight of you arriving... and instantly switched to a way more positive mood. He had one particular thing he absolutely intended to ask you, but the only possible way he could do that was by attempting to engage in a conversation during your break. Otherwise, he might ask you to have lunch or dinner together, but you might refuse.
However, he felt that today was his lucky day.
Around 8 o'clock, the café's doorbell jingled, and Jin turned to check, realizing it was one of his least favorite customers. He bit the inside of his cheek to avoid ranting, then refocused on his work.
**Later...**
Park Minji, aka Jimin, was chilling at his go-to café, sipping on a cappuccino with a slice of lemon cake. He watched you work, eyes locked on the six freshly baked blueberry muffins you were decorating—he was planning to snag at least three before leaving.
But out of nowhere, his best buddy waltzed in and snatched up the entire batch.
"All of them?" you asked, confused.
"Yep, Y/N, they look sooo good, I'm planning to share them with someone," Tae replied, flashing his signature boxy smile.
"You like them that much?" you teased while packing the muffins in a large bakery box, still a little stunned.
"They're one of my faves! Hey, what do you think about coming over sometime to bake them with Haneul? She's obsessed with baking." Tae's voice softened as he popped the question.
"Sure, I'd love that. Adam was asking about Haneul this morning," you grinned, handing over the box.
You had promised Haneul she'd get to hang with your brother again. As Tae took the package, his eyes lingered on your hands.
"Has anyone ever told you that you have the most beautiful hands?" he blurted.
"Oh, thanks! You've got pretty nice hands yourself," you replied, blushing slightly. You'd been teased about your hands in high school by bullies who couldn't find anything else to pick on.
Tae paid for the muffins while his eyes stayed glued to your every move—something about the way you typed into the cash register fascinated him. till he spotted the bruise on you cheek covered with canceller. Millions of questions popped in his mind but asking you right now felt out of place.
"Did you forget something?" you asked, noticing his lingering presence.
"Nope, just wanted to remind you to text me when you've got time to bake."
