Months passed and I noticed how Azura had become livelier and happier. Did I do the right choice? Is this the outcome of my decisions? If it made her this happy then... my work here is done.

Lumakad ako patungo sa kwarto ko at umupo sa sahig. Even Lily seems disappointed in me, what choices do I have? Azura wanted to become strong to protect herself without me... because I won't even last long here.

Napabuntong hiniga na lang ako at ginulo ang aking buhok. Lumingon ako sa mesa ko at nakita ang isang letter na mukhang pinadala ito sa'kin, nagka-salubong ang kilay ko na namukahaan ko ang sulat kamay ng letter na ito.

Sulat kamay ni Chris! 

Bawal ang mga cellphone sa mga kasambahay dapat iniiwan ito sa head maid or butler samin. Ganoon na lang kahigpit ang mga de Firoh sa mga outsiders. Mga sulat lamang ang pwede para mag message sa mga pamilya nila, minsan tinitignan pa ito ng mga head butlers at maids ang mga sulat namin upang manigurado na hindi ito tungkol sa mga de Firoh.

Sumandal ako sa mesa ko at binasa ang sulat ni Chris. It left me speechless and bewildered.

Maharlika is doing illegal things.

Pinapapunta ako ni Chris sa Pilipinas para tignan ito. Hindi alam ni Chris kung sino ang bagong leader ng Maharlika at kung ano ang motibo nila. 

Agad ako pumunta sa istasyon ng head butler upang mag paalam ako na... aalis na ako sa de Firoh. I now have a good reason to leave this place. 

Tinanggap naman ng head butler ang dahilan ko pero kailangan muna ito aprubahan nina Rowan o ni Revis at mukhang matatagalan pa sila dahil mga nasa sari-sarili silang misyon. Nasa Paris ngayon si Revis at si Rowan naman ay nasa US.

Nag-lakad na lang ako sa palasyo ni Azura at sana makita ko man lang sila Lily at Azura bago ako umalis. I spotted Lily who was hanging the clothes for them to dry. I walked toward her and helped her hang the clothes.

She looked surprised and just continue to hang the clothes. Both of us were just in complete silence, so I broke the silence. "Hey, umm, I'm leaving soon."

"Okay," she shortly said.

'Yun lang?

"Hindi na ako babalik," I said trying to make her miss me.

"E'di don't," she coldly said.

I laughed softly at pinisil ang pisngi niya, she then looked at me annoyed. 

"Take care of Azura for me... dahil mukhang hindi na niya ako kakailanganin," malungkot kong sinabi sa kaniya. Just thinking the thought that the little girl whom I spend my time with... won't rely on me anymore.

I suddenly felt a sharp pain on my cheek, I held onto my cheek and looked at her confused.

"That's right... I slapped you," she said in a sarcastic tone and massage her forehead. "You and I promised to the moon... that we will protect Azura! And you will just leave?!" she hissed, and I saw tears in her eyes.

"I-I'm sorry... I disappointed you... I made Azura into who she is now-" 

"You think Azura is a monster?!"  she snapped, making me speechless.

"Azura will never become like them! why? because she is still the baby girl, I take care of! She still wants some hugs, kisses, and bedtime stories with me, so yes... my Azura is not a monster... she's just an assassin... not a monster." 

I stared at her, and she was in tears while clenching the cloth to her chest. "I'm sorry," I walked away and just like that, I and Lily never cross paths again. I just waited patiently for the approval, and it arrived.
