Binuhat ko si Azura at tumakbo papaalis sa empyerno na ito. I can hear Rowan's shouts and orders.

"Hold tight... I'm taking you away," I said while holding her tight. I could also feel her grasp tightens around my neck.

The dogs started chasing us not just dogs, but they were dogs who were starved and has rabies. I tried not to slip because the mountain is very sloped.

The gates even start closing.

Shit fuck naman o!

Kumiripas talaga ako ng takbo and slide my way to the gate at sumara na nga ito leaving that one dog cut its head off.

I sighed in relief kahit alam ko hindi pa ligtas dito. Italy is a dangerous place for her. I need to take her away.

"Big Bo, your arm." She said in a soft tone at mapapatawa na lang ako because she looks like a sad puppy na hinihimas ang braso ko.

"I'm alright, Azura." I pat her head and give her an assuring smile. "Azura, do you want to come live with me in a place I called the Philippines?"

"Sì!" she said with full excitement, pero syempre I have to clean her up first.

She looked amaze around the city dahil first time lang niya talaga makalabas para lumibot-libot sa mga lugar. Nakakaalis lang siya ng bansa upang gumawa ng trabaho.

Nakarating na kami sa Pilipinas and she looked overwhelmed around her surrounding kaya sinisiksik niya talaga ang sarili niya sa tabi ko. Marami din sa mga tao ang mga nakatingin sa kaniya dahil kaakit-akit naman talaga ang mukha ni Azura.

I also made a new name for Azura.

Azura Severio

I just recently found out that her mother was the once famous actress of the Philippines. Her mother died when Azura was only 3 for an unknown cause.

That's right... Isabella Severio. The daughter of the former Vice President of the Philippines and the pearl treasure of the Philippines.

"Sure, ka na ba 'jan sa desisyon mo hah? Kuzui." Chris said with full judgmental look on his face.

i just chuckled lightly at tumingin kung paano sinusungitan ni Lucas si Azura habang si Azura naman ay curious sa buong pagkatao ni Lucas.

"Oo, ako na bahala," I smiled kaya napa buntong-hininga na lang si Christ at ngumiti sa akin.

"Dalhin mo na lang siya dito tuwing may mga trabaho ka, aba mahirap mag palaki ng bata."

"Sige," tumawa na lang ako at tumingin kung paanong turuan ni Lucas si Azura naman.

"Hoy! huwag mong tuturuan mag mura 'yan, Lucas!" Pagbabanta ni Chris sa anak niya at mukhang tinuturuan nga niya si Azura mag mura ng tagalog.

Nakitira muna kami kila Chris dahil napalayas ako sa dati kong tinitirhan dahil ayaw niya ng bata doon. Kaya pahirapan talaga mag hanap ng bahay at mga trabaho.

I froze seeing Azura all bloody and Lucas who passed out in the corner.

"Azura... what did you do?" I felt my lips tremble.

"I-I don't know, Big Bo." She started trembling and tearing up.

I grabbed her shoulders and squeeze them. "Pretend that this never happens, please... I am doing this to protect you!" I can't see her like this anymore... I want her to live normally.

Azura nodded and so I started to clean up all the evidence... I made sure she is not linked to this incident. Everything I am doing... is to protect her from the de Firohs.

Until another incident happened and Lucas has actually seen it happen. Azura is too dangerous for this kind of place, buti na lang nakahanap na ako ng malilipatan namin. It is somehow a peaceful neighborhood.

Nag-aalala din ako na baka ayaw na ni Lucas makipag friends kay Azura. His reasons are valid. I can't force him to this.

"Azura wa kiken sugite koko ni i rarenai. Watashitachiha sarimasu, watashitachi o taizai sa sete kurete arigatō." (Azura is too dangerous for her to stay here. We're leaving, thank you for letting us stay.) I bowed at Chris and sighed who would've thought na mangyayari ulit 'to? Who could blame me... it triggers her.

Azura looked guilty and scared kaya tinapik ko ang ulo niya at binigyan ko ito ng ngiti.

Ayos lang...

"Naruhodo,-tai o dō shita no?" (I see, but what did you do with the bodies?) tanong sa'kin ni Chris. Binuhat ko si Azura t niyakap ko siya.

"I clean them up just like usually do back then."Ika ko sa kaniya, since that was also my original job back there. I clean up the pieces of evidence.

"May pera ka ba?-"

"I have my own savings. I already found a house to calm neighborhood, pero doon ko parin siya papaaralin sa scool ni Lucas. Dahil mukhang mas lalong malulungkot si Azura pag nawala sa tabi niya si Lucas." Ani ko kay Chris dahil totoo naman na mas lalong malulungkot si Azura... dahil si Lucas lang naman ang kilala niya dito at pagkakatiwalaan niya.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?"Tinaas ko ang aking kilay dahil si Lucas kaagad ang unang bumungad sa'kin. Mamaya pa pasukan nila ah at mukhang tinakbuhan niya lang ito.

"Sabi ni Azura magaling ka daw lumaban! Please, train me! Ayaw ko na lagi ako naka-asa kay Azura. Gusto lumaban para sa sarili ko, para sa kanila, at para sa kaniya."

I was taken aback from what he said. He wanted to train... just to protect Azura? He looked so determine and sincere. Tinignan ko ang orasan at tumingin pabalik sa kaniya.

"Meet me every 5 am at the Manila Bay. I will teach you the basics of martial arts where you can still defend yourself. Don't be late." Striktong sinabi ko sa kaniya at bumalik na ulit sa loob para mag trabaho.

"Maraming salamat po!" tuwang-tuwa na sinabi ni Lucas at tumatalon-talon pa ito.

Lumingon ako sa kaniya and mouthed something.

"Thank you..."

Thank you for staying to be her friend.

I ran as as I could. Shit, late na ako nakatapos sa trabaho ko at umuulan pa talaga. Nag text naman sa'kin si Ella na nandoon si Azura sa kanila dahil naiiyak na daw ito, baka siya na lang daw matitira sa school.

She also cried because of her... family.

Wala daw masagot si Azura sa family presentation niya at ang tanging pinakita niya lamang ay ang picture ko. Hindi daw ito tinanggap ng teacher niya dahil dapat daw family lang.

Schools should be really aware of these kinds of things, really.

I arrived at their place at pumasok na ako. Bago ko tawagin sina Ella, narinig ko naman ang pinag-uusapan nila.

"Nako nako, pake ba ng teacher mo na si Big Bo lang family mo. Binabayad nga ni Big Bo tuition mo eh, napaka unprofessional." Pag rereklamo ni Ella.

"Okay lang ako!" sabi ni Azura at masaya parin ito naka ngiti.

"Okay lang kahit wala akong papa o mama, pero basta nanjan lang si Big Bo sa tabi ko... sapat na 'yon sa'kin." Azura said with full of confidence and joy.

Napangiti na lang ako at hinawakan ang kanan kong dibdib.

This brat... sapat ka na din sa'kin, Azura.
