"GIRL UH LOOK DAMN GOOD!!" A familiar voice said shouting over the music while she danced.
It was the girl from the last party, she seemed to be Jermaine's friend because I had seen her around them alot, I also remembered that she was very annoying, but in my tipsy state I didn't have it in me to be grumpy or annoyed. The night out was actually fun, one after the other people went up to wish Jermaine happy birthday, which had me wondering about the new popularity status of my cousin.
"Weh uh name?" I asked her.
"Bianca but dem call mi Bee." she said
"Thanks Bianca." I said and went over to Jermaine.
Men and women gathered around him but not in a suffocating way. To the side noticed a group separated from the large one fidgeting with sachets of what looked like pills. One of the men saw me looking and walked over holding out his hand in my direction.
"Wah dat?" I questioned
He looked at his group if friends and they all laughed.
" Di good ting dem man, yuh tek one a dis and yuh can all fly guh France." He said while his face shifted through different emotions seamlessly.
Molly.
I stepped away from the group stood infront of Jermaine.
"Yuh good?" I asked
"Mi more dan alright, a me fi a ask if you good, nuh wah uh pull a Cinderella and run off lef me tonight again eno." He said and I laughed.
"Mi good man, kinda wah more liquor though, fi you know, really get ina di party vibes." I said and he raised his eyebrows.
"Likkle miss goody two shoes? Mi cya mek you pass up dis." He said signaling the waiter over.
Shot after shot, drink after drink and Jermaine and I laughed our asses off at utter non-sense as we remembered our childhood traumas and teased the people around us.
One ting eno, we ago tek bad tings turn joke.
"Mi soon come yah Jermaine if mi laugh one more time mi piss up." I said staggering to get up. I walked down the halls of the club trying to locate the bathroom until I did. Not waiting a split second, I used it and stood at the counter washing my hands when the door was opened.
Bianca.
Everything after was a blur to me as my head became clouded by all the weed and liquor I injested earlier that night. She slowly walked up to me and I watched as her petite figured swayed side to side in the short bodycon dress that hugged her shape in the right way.
Nah lie dat do mi sumn.
Moments passed and I was pushed up against the bathroom stall.
Weh di fuck?
Her hand went up my neck, one stroking it the other gripping it and her lips met mine. The coconut scent she gave off invaded my lungs as her body inched closer and closer to mine. Her soft lips played games with me as they moved effortlessly over my top and bottom lip. I could hear slight moans coming from her as my mouth parted, but as quickly as it began, it ended. She removed herself from me and left the bathroom.
Ok?......
I held my head down in confusion as I exited the room, wiping the remainder of her cherry lipgloss from my lips when I unknowingly walked into someone.
"Fuck!" I said as the sudden impact caused me to roll my ankle.
"You cya watch weh ya-" I said then looked up.
His face seemed vaguely familiar but my blended brain juices and depleted vision under the club lights could not comprehend it.
"The stripper dem fi deh ova dehso yere." He said and pointed over to the left.
Wait deh?
Him tink?
Dah man yah eediat?
"OLE STINKING BWO-"
Javaughn's POV
"You feel like you shit can mek patty yuh come a try style mi ? " She said following behind me, raging at my misconception.
" Boss, how much Don Julio fi guh ina di VIP section?" The club assistant asked.
"Put four in deh, and send three gyal ova deh too." I said.
" YUH AVE ONE BLOODCLAAT PIECE A NERVE-" she continued, raising her voice.
I knew her, she knew me but her unwanted nagging was pissing me off and I did not need the extra stress on top of the one I already had to be dealing with from this event.
" Lowe mi nuh gyal." I said and walked away from her. Her composure shifted and she exhaled.
"Mr....Walker is this your mode of operation for running a business? Your lack of enthusiasm, sense of direction, misogynistic perceptions and abnoxius attitude are absolutely appalling to prospective and current clients. You have literally no respect whatsoever and I would not like have to take that up with board of directors at the International Entertainment Trust." She said looking at my name tag which led me to wonder if she was infact so blinded by her drunkenness that she did not recognize me.
"Um...Okay?" I said looking her up and down.
Women.
Dat did fi scare me or sumn?
"Listen, mi have tings a do, so if yuh wah stay dehso an chat to yuh self yuh can gwaan." I said and walked off leaving her there shocked in her tracks.
Perry walked out to me.
"What was that about?" He asked witnessing the entire thing.
" Some drunk gyal. " I said.
" The men will be here soon, give them a brief run down and I will do the rest." He said to which I nodded.
To the untrained eye this might have seemed like a top secret mafia type meeting. Over the years Perry attracted large investors daily and to him the perfect place to speak business was in a club.
His club.
Though many are questionable wealthy men, it wasn't my job to question, I just gave the preliminaries and left the room. It had always been like that.
After playing my part in the meeting I stood out on the club balcony, looking down as people below danced, drunk and smoked their senses away.My eyes scanned the room and landed on Tindale, seemed like prison did her well physically but our encounter showed me that mentally, she was still the same person as she was before, maybe even worse. If she had recognized me it probably would've been the same as the last time. She saw me, I saw her, we made eye contact, she ran. Just how I liked it.
As her eyes met my gaze gunshots went off and my head instantly went to the source of the sound, the VIP booth.
Perry.
