Javaughn’s POV
“Okay Ms Palmer, I understand the concern but I can assure you that your money is safe in our bank. It was just a misunderstanding, a common one too, it happens to most of our first time bankers. We will better educate you on the deposition of your money in the future. Please note that it takes a day for deposited money to show up in a bank account, so there is no need to panic. Your money is in safe hands.” I stated firmly.
“Suh den me waste me time come dung yah? Alright me good body accountant. Me never know seh a suh it guh.” the lady said touching my hands as she exited the room.
If I didn’t know better I’d think that she was really concerned about the five hundred dollars that she deposited into her bank account, but the three hours spent explaining the insignificant problem made me realize she was playing a game. A game she had no chance in winning.
Game on yuh fuck, like she nuh know a who she a talk too. She must think dunceness turn me on.
Fucking sketel.
When the problem was dissolved. I made sure the office was completely closed. I lifted my hand to check the time, It was two am. This was way outside of working hours but today was a busy day.
And money affi bloodclaat mek.
I loosened my tie and began to destress but was interrupted by an incoming call.
"Yow mi g." A voice who I recognized to be my uncle George said.
"Wah gwaan, everything good?" I said noticing he sounded shaken up.
"No eno, mi need yuh fi come link mi a mi work." he said
"Dat cya wait till tomorrow, mi tyad yuh fuck." I said not wanting to be under any more pressure than I already was.
"No ute. Come NOW but park a few blocks down." he said raising his voice a bit.
"Ahh nuh seh forty mah fawud." I said and made my way to his post.
Before I could even step foot out of the car George came to me.
"Bredda, memba Tindale, di lady mi tell you did help mi out di time?" He said
George, was one of the outcasted members of my family, they isolated him from the rest and he wasn't invited to any gatherings. I wasn't even allowed to speak with him at one point, but i believe family is family and unless one of them had done me injustice they all deserved a second chance.
"Yea man, a wahm?" I questioned
"Mi tink sumn gwaan ina dem house tonight, mi tink she kill somebody." He said
"So wah mi fi do bout dat George, people nuh dead everyday? Mi look like police?" I said hissing my teeth.
"No, uh nah understand, a good woman she be, if she neva did help mi, mi woulda dead now believe it or not, me cya mek she tek di fault fi something weh dah likkle careless boy deh cause. Mi just a ask fi dis one favour, please, mi know a your scene dis. " He said
I knew it was serious because George NEVER asked for favours or any form of help. He would suffer in silence before coming out and voicing his problems and I understand that, cause people will use that vulnerability to toy with you and break you. I had to help him.
"Get me up to speed quickly. " I said.
In fifteen minutes I learnt the usual whereabouts, incidents that led to the event, the actual event and what was going on now.
I called the rest of my team and told them the plan as I got ready to find the girl.
Di things mi do sake a family.
After a few minutes of driving in town I spotted the car George described going around twice the speed limit.
Mi nah rub out mi wheel dem fi dat eno, she try calm harself.
Almost like she had heard my thoughts, soon after the car slowed down. I quickly sped past her and swung my Jeep infront of her car and stopped.
She looked around, and her body language showed her traumatism.
I got out of my car in an attempt to go to her window but before I could, she had already hopped out of the car, hyperventilating as I stated what I had to before she began to throw her words across the road.
Me know how woman get, dem love chat yf.
"Jazariah, George sent me.” I said
She stared before responding.
“Weh yuh wah?” She questioned
“Me nuh wah nun my girl, George sen me yah fi mek sure yuh good and yuh nuh guh do nun dunce.” I made clear raising my eyebrow in disgust.
“Me neva tell you nor George-” she paused in an attempt to catch her breath.
A cya weh me think she ago bloodclaattt seh.
“Me never tell uno me need help.” she finally spat out .
Bredda me hate woman yf. Ungrateful bitch.
“Hear wah, me dawg dem will deal wid it. Nuh seh nothing else to nobody and nuh badda guh do nun stupid, move like yave sense yere. Text dah number ya and di person will sort you out." I said handing her a card, I then proceeded to get in my van and drove off.
After about an hour I met up with a member of my team who basically, did what had to be done and framed who had to be framed.
"You know how mi do my thing already, Lsd wid d alcohol, we have di copy cat lock and the technological stuff." He mumbled
"Ute, talk wid sense nuh." I said
"I tampered with two pieces of the scene and introduced one, the bodies, the digital security system and the copycat. From the information you gave me, they were both drinking, I placed L.S.D in their bodies. First defense, the toxicology screening would show the mixing of the drugs and experts would know the varying effects. Second defense, I erased most of the video so I could bring in defense three, the copycat, basically mi ago get someone who look like Tindale bestfriend man and place him at the scene, he would have motive and I would change any other detail to make it fitting." He said proudly and smiled.
"Kool." I replied
