Ch.13 In The Shoes Of Another

In Aster's Au After the Portal Closes

Blue's Pov

  I watch as the portal closes behind Nightmare. Good! I really didn't want to have to fight Nightmare. He was always nice when I visited Error and Dust. I enjoy our small discussions. I wonder if that skeleton was a new recruit. Nightmare has been looking for new skeletons to join him. They didn't seem to be struggling in his hold. They were probably the one who sent back Nightmare when I was going to hit him. I put away my hammer and turn back to Dream and Ink. "SORRY, I WAS TOO LATE. IT SEEMS HE GOT AWAY." I told my two friends.

  "It's ok Blue. We're all are at fault. If Ink and I hadn't got distracted the skeleton wouldn't have been taken. You at least tried to stop him." Dream told me.

  "Well it's too late now. They're probably dead. Ah! There it is! Don't threaten when enemy has hostage. Hostage will die." Ink says still looking at his scarf.

  "Oh, Ink. What are we going to do with you?" Dream says disappointed.

  "WELL WE SHOULD ATLEASE SEE WHAT KIND OF AU THIS IS. WE FORGOT TO CHECK WHEN WE CAME IN. I DIDN'T SEE ANY DUST AROUND WHEN WE PASSED, SO NIGHTMARE COULDN'T HAVE BEEN THE ONE TO DO IT." I tell them.

  "On it!" Ink says as he pulls up the description. He takes on a look of confusion  and fascination.

  "What is it Ink?" Dream asks.

  "Have a look." Ink tells him, showing him.

KarmaKillerPLAYER

This Au has taken
the path of a combination of
Underplayer and Killertale.

  This Au was originally an undertale copy that had reached a perfect pacifist ending. They were living on the surface for five years when a PLAYER arrived. The PLAYER possessed the eighth human, then proceeded to reset the world and take it on repeated incomplete genocide runs. They were unable to get past the Judge. They eventually grew bored and started experimenting with the code. This eventually lead to the Au slowly becoming damaged. Growing bored of that too, the PLAYER decided to make a deal with the Judge of this Au. They wanted them to join in on their killing and continue it to the surface. The Judge refused. This would lead to them being possessed by the player. They were forced to kill the entire underground, until they reached Flowey.  They fought back for control not wanting to continue killing. They then proceed to turn on the PLAYER, killing their body, but not defeating them.

  I looked at Dream in horror. The poor Sans! They had been through so much. I wouldn't wish Killer's fate on anyone. And, it was all caused by a PLAYER! Error told me about them. How they were hackers that usually wanted to spread chaos and suffering. It was part of his and Fresh's job to stop them. Fresh would find them and Error would ban them from the multiverse. Though why a god of chaos like Fresh would want to prevent it is something I question. Nightmare probably had Error help the Sans. I wonder why the Au had the word Karma in it if this is a Killer and UnderPLAYER Au.

  "The poor Sans. They had to go through some serious suffering. No wonder the Aus is saturated in negativity and my brother showed up! But, what's UnderPLAYER and a PLAYER?" Dream asks filled with sympathy for the Sans.
