The Red Keep, King's Landing

87 AC

"Grandmother and Grandfather are arguing." Rhaella murmured.

Baelon nodded. He was proud that Rhaella had taken to the skies, but he had been terrified when he found her chambers emptied.

The castle had gone into disarray when Rhaenys and Viserra were also discovered missing.

They had been relieved when they saw Dreamfyre and Meleys in the sky, confirming where two of the princesses went, but they had all been horrified and devastated when Viserra's death was reported.

Alysanne was devastated to lose a third daughter in the span of five years. Then she and Jaehaerys had begun quarreling.

"Grandfather is planning for a royal progress." Rhaenys said. "But Grandmother said he could go by himself. She was leaving for to grieve for their dead daughters, alone."

"Will we be going?" Daemon asked.

"Yes and no." a voice said, and the royal grandchildren turned to see Aemon in the doorway.

"Rhaenys and Rhaella will be coming with me and Father. Viserys and Daemon, you two are staying here with Baelon." the Prince of Dragonstone said.

"That's not fair!" Daemon whined. Viserys merely shrugged—he knew that he would be able to go on royal progresses when he was older.

And that he was staying behind to help keep Daemon under control.

"Your father requested you two to stay here." Aemon said. "Since Rhaella and Rhaenys have dragons, they can keep up with the King and I."

"When do we leave, Uncle?" Rhaella asked.

"In a fortnight. Get packed and be ready." Aemon said.

That is today's chapter. I hope you all enjoyed it.
