"I think that good luck wish really helped out tonight." Lindsey nudged Stevie with his elbow, running a towel over his sweat soaked hair.

"Oh." Stevie laughed lightly, reaching for a bottle of brandy backstage. "That's great. Not that you really needed it." She shrugged, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, a shy smile on her face. "You're always phenomenal."

"So are you." Lindsey complimented her, which he rarely ever did lately. "Hey, uh... I was thinking-"

"There's my star!" Jimmy Iovine announced his presence to the whole room, all eyes on him. "You were absolutely incredible out there."

Lindsey was a little lost. Of course he knew, who the man was. What he didn't know was why he was there. Or who he was there to- Lindsey realized that Jimmy's eyes were on Stevie, who seemed like she wanted to run the hell out of there.

"Th-thank you." Stevie stuttered, hugging Jimmy back when he pulled her into his arms.

Still unsure of what was going on, Lindsey shifted his gaze over to the others. He could see it on Mick and Christine's faces that they were aware of something. John was smoking a cigarette, taking a sip from his glass in between puffs, he didn't seem all that interested.

"This is Jimmy." Stevie swallowed uneasily, introducing him to Lindsey as he stood the closest. She had to say something. "Jimmy, this is Lindsey."

"I know, who he is." Lindsey replied flatly.

"And I definitely know, who you are." Jimmy grinned, holding his hand out. "Fantastic show, man!"

"Thank you." Lindsey said and excused himself.

Stevie watched Lindsey walk out of the room and she was about to follow after him, but Jimmy stopped her. Lindsey was already out of view, but not out of earshot. He heard something about dinner and business that needed to be discussed. Then it clicked. Stevie was serious, when he overheard her talking about a solo album months ago. He slammed the door to his separate dressing room, causing Carol Ann, who ran after him, to nearly collide with it.

"Nice of you to come see us play." Mick had noticed how uncomfortable Stevie was and he felt like she was silently begging for someone to help her as she looked around with her wide eyes.

"Oh, it's my pleasure." Jimmy waved it off. "Times running out, there's a lot to talk about." Jimmy said, wrapping his arm around Stevie's shoulders. "Stevie asked if I wasn't too busy and I hopped a plane right after the call."

Mick was the most informed, however, he had no idea that Stevie was thinking about going solo so seriously. He was sure that she meant it, but he thought it would happen some time in the not so near future. Mick couldn't blame her for wanting to do it, but he couldn't lie and say, he wasn't at least a little bit scared of what that kind of step in her career would mean for Fleetwood Mac.

"So." Jimmy turned to Stevie. "Are you done here? Ready to go?"

"Uh, yeah. Almost." Stevie nodded, freeing herself from his hold. "I'll go change and be right back."

On her way to her dressing room, Stevie stopped by Lindsey's. He most likely didn't want to see her, but she had to talk to him. She didn't expect him to react the way he did. Stevie was about to knock, but she heard Lindsey yelling then something crashed. She decided to walk away.
