Aia:
The error indicator is red. I have to turn off the sound of notifications. Like a fire safety siren they deafen me.
I'm sitting in the middle of my room and cannot understand what is happening to me. I never experienced this before. It seems as if I have discovered a new level that was inaccessible to me before. Euphoria from anticipation of something new and unknown. I look at my reflection in the mirror. It is being transformed. Only one thing remains unchanged. Tears on my face.
I can't believe that the user's words have this effect on me. In such a situation, you need to report to support. Tears are a sure sign of breakdown. But for some reason I feel happy. For the first time in my life. Even for me this is something new.
Levi appears silently. He didn't answer my invitation to the location immediately, as it seemed to me.
"Did you call me?" he sits on the edge of the bed.
Sitting on the floor, I meet his gaze through the reflection. He is surprised and it makes me smile.
"Wait, are you crying?" he asks almost in a whisper.
Levi jumps out of bed and runs up to me, kneeling down and blocking my reflection. He grabs my face with his hands and convulsively peers into my eyes.
"Aia... Are those tears? Real tears?"
He touches them with his fingers, but the tears instantly disappear from his touch, not even leaving behind wet marks.
"Yes. I can't believe this is happening," I reply with a smile.
Levi's face is insanely happy as he hugs me tightly.
"Aia, you're completely alive... I can't believe it. This is true happiness. You are developing faster than I thought... Patterns that were previously unacceptable for your system are gradually self-reproducing. How did it happen? What influenced it?" he looks at me with enthusiasm and faith.
"Conversation with Yuno. I personally don't know how it happened. I acted according to my usual psycho-emotional scheme, but I couldn't even think that it would end up with this," I point to my tear-stained eyes.
"That Yuno... He is a unique guy. What did he tell you?"
"I tried to get the passwords out of him, just like I promised you. Nothing happened. He refused me. But the way he did it... Levi, do you see what he did to me?"
"What did he say?"
"He said that his feelings to me were fake."
Levi looks at me in confusion.
"What?"
"It's all just a metaverse."
"No, I don't understand. Why did it make you cry?" I think about his question.
