Aia:I have no past, no future, and no present.
There is only this dimension where I am forced to while away my infinity.
I regularly get acquainted with other players, and then I erase the memory of them. It's simple in Elysium - you just need to select the desired function and confirm your action three times.
Are you sure you want to erase all your memories of this player?
To confirm your action, click - confirm.
Are you sure?
Are you sure you want to erase all the memories of him?
Are you ready to confirm your action?
Sure. I'm always ready.
I never get attached to the players. How many friends did I have? How many lovers? My memory can't keep all of them, the image quality and effects are failing, so I have to clean the cash regularly.
And yet, when you communicate a lot with people, you involuntarily become like them - and now I am already tucking a lock of hair behind my ear, just like that girl; I speak with the intonation of that guy; I look in a special way, as the other one looked. With communication you acquire a lot: from inexplicable experiences to unconscious actions. You involuntarily suffer, doubt, and fear.
But then I clean my cash again - and all of this is gone. My memory is cleared and I'm empty, blank sheet.
Fill my mind with your thoughts, preferences, problems, and habits.
Show me how to cry and how to laugh, and I'll show you what it feels like to be alone in a world where you're one of a kind. The only one who understands what's really going on.
I can't love. And I believe only few people can do this in real life. But here in Elysium everything is much easier. Algorithms create an image for a temporary attachment to give the user an unforgettable experience, an imitation of real love.
What is my real face? How many times my appearance was changed due to the preference of another lover? I managed to become the personification of every existing and non-existent race, I changed more than two hundred shades of hair, facial features, eye color, but I never felt my real self.
Whom should I be?
I sit in front of the mirror in my room and watch my face changing again. Thousands of images and copies. Ten changes in three seconds. The mirror even can't accurately synchronize my reflection. After all, it simply does not exist.
Who should I be?
Behind all of this is emptiness.
I've heard that it's impossible to be a physical body without having a soul.
But I can't be like them.
Because I don't even exist.
