Nightmare loved Cross too much to hate him, even after learning everything. How could he hate someone who loved him so much and desired him to be safe and happy? Cross never hurt the children nor pushed them beyond their limits. He was careful and tender with them, and with Nightmare himself.

With their love, Cross took the curse completely, leaving the Nobleman to be his tiny and cute self. He was no longer immortal like Cross though, something that the assassin didn't like. So, with the journal of the witch Nanny, he was able to attach Nightmare's life to his own. As long as Cross lived, so did Nightmare.

To completely seal their lives together, they had gotten married and had their small honeymoon. It was there that Nightmare had gotten pregnant. The children- now grown up and with their own babies- were happy. They were happily getting anything that the new parents would need.

As time went on, it became clear that the pregnancy wasn't normal, lasting longer than ten months. For a while, Nightmare grew scared, unsure whether the baby was alright. By the two-year mark, he finally gave birth. The baby was perfectly fine and healthy. In fact, the baby looked a lot like how Nightmare looked when he was cursed.

They all guessed that with their immortality, the babies had a longer time to form. It wasn't something that they needed to worry about, the babies were still fine after all.

As more time went on, Nightmare forgot why he was scared of Cross. He forgot because no one brought it up and kept him happily distracted and loved. Eventually, the people that were there either moved away or died, leaving Nightmare with only his husband and his children. Yet, the children were told to explore the world, to go and find someone to love and treasure forever. They did to a variety of degrees.

The once-cursed Nobleman could only live happily as he continued to care for the mansion that was now his prison. Cross made sure that Nightmare was happy though, keeping the library filled with the newest books and figuring out how to get electricity and all the new things the world had to offer. Everything and anything to keep his heart happy, even as the world seemed to have had forgotten them.

"I love you, my heart~" Cross whispered in Nightmare's ear as he held him close.

The short skeleton sighed happily, leaning into the other's embrace. It was such a familiar feeling; he couldn't imagine a life without it. However, he knew what the other wanted more specifically.

"I love you, too, but let me finish gardening and then we can have fun."

Cross pouted at that but released his heart to finish. He was still getting what he wanted later, so that was good. They can have some more babies now that the house was completely empty~ He was sure his wonderful husband would like that~

"I know what you're thinking." The lavender eyed monster hummed, a deep blush on his face. "At least tell the others they should be expecting a younger sibling."

The curse monster laughed happily, leaning down and kissing the other's head before going back into the house to phone them. It was the least he could do, seeing as it was getting closer to their family reunion. At least their family hadn't forgotten them.

Hey, sorry if this is a bad or cringe ending. I just didn't know how to continue it beyond the last chapter. I hope you had enjoyed the story though!
