Breeze paw's eyes narrowed, her claws still and her mind clearly consentrated on Firepaw. Fire paw seemed ready for any attack she would give as he grinned and sunk his claws into the ground.
" begin" black meadow purred
Fire paw lunged at her pushing her to a Boulder before he held his claws on her throat. Breeze paw lashed her claws across his belly before lashing them across his face.
The shecat grabbed him by his paw and twirled him around for a moment before letting go as he plunged down to the ground with a thud.
She then sprang towards him and sunk her claws into his chest. Breeze paw reached down and sunk her dagger sharp fangs into his throat sinking her teeth into it.
She did not let go and continued to try and suffocate him as Fire paw tried to push her off using his hind legs. He lifted his forearm and raked his claws against her torso causing her release him. He swiftly leaped back at her to swing his claws at her chest.
The two continued to tackle each other. Small pieces of orange, black and white fur tusfts flew in the air as well as yowls and hisses could be heard.
"Enough, I like what I saw. Keep up the good work Breezepaw." Blackmeadow mewed, giving her daughter a congratulating lick on the cheek.
Firepaw gripped his throat as he lay on the ground clearly in defeat.
Sunpaw's tail curled around her paws anxiously as she watched her brother struggle to his paws and begin to weakly walk towards her and plunge to the ground.
"Don't hurt yourself, Firekit." Breezepaw cackled, her tail swaying back and forth in delight.
"So we're done right? What's the excuse for today's wounds?" Sunpaw muttered as she got to her paws, ready to help Firepaw walk back to camp.
"I'll be cleaning up by the river." Breezepaw was about to leave when Blackmeadow hissed. "Did I say training was over for the day?" She sneered at the two. "Sunpaw, you've been useless for long enough. Get in the clearing and fight your sister. Train for once in your life," The black shecat kept her gaze directed to Sunpaw whose green eyes widened in terror. She cast her sister a glare before redirecting her attention to her mother.
"But- I don't know how to fight. It would be a waste of time to-" "You'll learn. Now get in the clearing and prove yourself." Sunpaw's ears pinned against her head as she reluctantly began padding into the clearing, misery swept her gaze.
Breezepaw examined the shecat before grinning. She stood opposite of her and unsheathed her claws. "This is will be easy." She smirked, turning her attention to her mother who studied the two. "Begin." She ordered.
With a growl, Breezepaw launched herself at Sunpaw, easily knocking her onto his back. Sunpaw betted an unsheathed at her sister, who laughed, grinning and revealing her fangs. "What was that?"
Sunpaw winced, she never wanted to be involved with this. Breezepaw swung a hefty paw at her shoulder, drawing blood in her path as her claws teared through her skin. Sunpaw let out a shriek that was silenced by Blackmeadow's growl. Breezepaw wasn't expecting her to be that weak, but then again it made sense. She was so timid as a kit, she never experienced True pain. Blackmeadow let out a snarl, stalking towards the apprentices.
Breezepaw quickly backed away, fearing the angered Blackmeadow who lunged down, grabbing Sunpaw by the scruff and swinging her around. Firemask let out a quiet gasp as the young apprentice yelped and tumbled in the dirt.
Breezepaw simply smirked and crept towards her angered mother and leaned in to whisper, "Don't waste your time on her. I'll handle it." She purred. Blackmeadow's gaze slightly softened as she nodded and stalked back to her spot, her ears pricking at the two.
