The cats of all clans sat beneath the highstones all chittering and chattering away, indeed it had been almost two moons since they had a gathering and had a lot to catch up on. Above them sat the leaders of all five clans discussing above them.

Breezeclaw made her way through the muddy and wet grass which had been an outcome of the past rains, she dragged her already drenched paws along whilst she scouted out cats whom she hadn't talked to. She soon found herself at lonerclan's side which was the far edge, the most darkened due to the trees not allowing any of the full moon's light to protrude. She immediately spotted a familiar tom who she still looked up to and was more than overjoyed to refer to him as her kin. She prodded the white tom's shoulder with her paw before finally getting his attention as his icy cold gaze rested upon the shecat, greeting a her with an attentive tail lash. "Greetings, Coldheart." Breezeclaw mewed, "May I say the same to you, you've gotten so much taller!" The tom chuckled before examining her pelt and taking note of all her scars. "Well? Don't just stand there take a seat and tell me what happened after I killed Treefall."

"Everything went according to plan. We exiled Owlstar and Mossleaf, the previous deputy fled to join mossclan in fear after realising what Owlstar was capable of doing." The shecat mewed, using her tail tip to point at Ebonyfate which surprisingly  made Coldheart hiss, "Why is he deputy? You two became warriors at the same time if I'm correct?" Breezeclaw nodded before protesting. "He would make it easier to have a good relationship with the rest of the clans, making it easier to find out all of their weaknesses which I guess is something I can't do." She said in an overly dramatic voice before her hiss got cut off by Blackmeadow's, "He is also making her soft. They were friends back when they were apprentices and I didn't mind," She averted her gaze onto the white tom's who's eyes were dull with confusion. "That was until she flinched when Blackstar suggested killing him." She finally drew back  her disappointed gaze, "Where is Hatredhazel? You two are usually together during gatherings or any meeting at all and I want to see if he's still as soft he was the last time I saw him." She chuckled only to see Coldheart's sorrow-filled gaze and straightened her gaze in confusion before realising. "Cougarstar put him in a to-the-death battle despite my protests.. He didn't stand a chance against Dandelionwhisker  and I tried to jump in and save him when I noticed how she had him pinned down. I lunged for her throat and would have killed her had I not noticed how everyone rejoiced just as I pinned her down. I turned my back and saw our brother's dead body.." He let out a sigh as Blackmeadow lowered her ears in grief.

"Were you really expecting him to make it with an attitude like that? Remember how he'd always wine at Stainpelt each time we practised battle training as kits and when he deliberately ran off as apprentices? He have never made it out alive.." The shecat kept her head down, her eyes shrouded in grief. "W-who's Stainpelt?" Breezeclaw's ears pricked. "Our mother," Blackmeadow mewed. Just then Cougarstar's voice interrupted.

"Yes let's begin the gathering. Strength before age of course, Lonerclan as usual prospers this greenleaf. We have two new warriors, Owlclaw and Frostwhisker." Cougarstar purred in contentment as cats cheered their names "Owlclaw! Frostwhsker!" "As per usual we have our occasional deaths-"

"WHAT!" A shriek cut off the leader as everyone turned to see who had interrupted, a tuxedo molly with yellow eyes was on her paws, her tail puffed up and her fur on edge before yowling, "You lose warriors by the minute and you don't even care! It's like their lives mean nothing to you! As if they're just stones that you can knock over and replace. When you lose warriors you don't flinch you don't even host a burial. I've kept my head down and begrudgingly allowed this to continue but I'm sick of lonerclan and the way you have lead us!" With that she leapt onto highstones, her claws outstretched. The moment she landed on the boulder, leaving all five leaders stunned she turned to face all the cats who were now yowling and stood in shock. "Lonerclan  cats are suffering! It may look like we are thriving but we are suffering because of the way we are led! I lost both my parents and my littermates due to their foolish practises and I can't let this go on. So you can all stand by and watch this go on but I will not. I will not take my last breath until this all ends, I will not sleep, I will not eat, I will not drink until I stop this madness." With that the shecat drew her glare to Cougarstar before grabbing the tom by the scruff and flinging him into the air sending him bowling across the mud, his  leopard-patterned coat now brown and drenched from the mud.
