BreezeClaw's Massacre

Chapter 11

Breeze paw sat inside the loner clan barn, her ears perked once Cougar star gazed among the many cats below him.

The sun scattered into the barn due to small holes in the roof.

Cougar star gave an approving nod to the sun before he yowled. " I have many upbringings for this meeting one of the most important ones regarding owlclan obviously"

Breeze paw looked up at him with wide eyes, she swooped her tail to the side, touching her right flank with it before turning back up at Cougar star.

" due to Breeze paw and flame paw coming back to owlclan with almost a countless amount of scars I feel that their leader Minnow star will deffinetly get suspicious especially with them sneaking out of camp so often"

" so with that said I have decided that today I will be sending out a patrol to.." Cougar star flexed his claws and lashed his tail in delight.

Everyone nodded knowing exactly what the leopard cat meant. Breeze paw grinned and kept turning her gaze to everyone else, she was pleased to see a bunch of grins and smirks on their faces before she saw a brown tabby with a white chest and tail tip glaring at Cougar star.

She tilted her head and narrowed her eyes at him with a questionable look on her face before she got snapped out of her thoughts when Cougar star continued.

" Cruel cry, Red crimson, Breeze paw and Poison tooth will be sent out to catch that weak mouse and take away his last remaining life" Cougar star purred.

Cruel cry who was the Deputy looked among Breeze paw and the other cats who would be coming on the kill patrol with him before curling his tail around him and nodding approvingly.

" today's battles will be against Cold heart and dappled soul, Sinister paw and Blackpaw
before ending with our to the death battle which will be kept a secret until we reach the end of the day."

" you may be dismissed and I'd like to see Minnow star's body by moon rise. " Cougar star mewed before stepping off of the bar, leaping through the stack of boxes leading up to it and going into a box that had a hay nest inside it as well as a queen who seemed to be expecting kits waiting for him inside.

The barn cats slowly began to scattered, clearing up and ruining the semi-circle which had been formed during the meeting.

Breezepaw made her way through the crowded barn before finally spotting the grouped up warriors who had been chosen to join the kill patrol. My first kill patrol? It feels like my battle with Rattlepaw was only a few days ago yet here I am, already joining a kill patrol. Cougarstar must see something in me. She thought proudly as she neared the four warriors.

"I don't think that three warriors is enough to take down a cat who has lived through eight lives!" Redcrimson commented, his tone sharp. "We are four incase you forgot." Blackmeadow shot up, using the tip of her tail to point at Breezepaw and sat beside her. "An apprentice? What is Cougarstar? A mange-pelt!?" Cruelcry was quick to argue, "Cougarstar is our leader, you, a low rank have no right to speak of him that way especially in front of the deputy!"

The two toms shot to their paws and exchanged narrowed glances, Redcrimson held the deputy's gaze with burning eyes as his claws began to slide out of his paws and searched the tom's gaze.

"You two can't fight! We need to bring back Minnowstar's body by moonrise and we don't even have a plan set." Blackmeadow hissed, shoving Redcrimson to the side. "As deputy I'm not afraid to attack those who defy our leader. It's against the lonerclan rules which I have to enforce. Step down, Redcrimson." The red tortoiseshell didn't budge and instead let out a yowl which split the morning air before lunging for the deputy.
