The stars glistened above the pine forest, the moon glistening along with them whilst providing dim lighting that circled the clearing.

Breezepaw twisted and turned in her nest no matter where she lay or how hard she forced her head into her nest she still couldn't get a taste of sleep. The tortoiseshell's green eyes hesitantly peered across the den and we're shocked to see all the nests empty. She heathed herself from the moss as her ear twitched to the side. "You killed them! You killed them all you fox hearted traitor!" Treefall's voice yelled from the clearing. Breezepaw jolted and made her way through the mossy vines hanging from the mouth of the den. She shook her pelt and looked at the sight. Treefall stood on the opposite of Owlstar with a group of warriors behind her, their glares flaring with anger and shock. Owlstar had another group of his most devoted warriors behind him along with Milkwave and Foreigntrail at his side, their ears pinned and claws digging into the dirt as if they were ready to jump at anyone who leapt at Owlstar. Blackmask must have convinced her to begin a rebellion. The shecat wanted to purr with delight when she realized that they were confronting the tom.
Ebonypaw stood beside Treefall, his ears droopy and gaze shattered. Ebonypaw always looked up to Owlstar and being told that he killed his own warriors absolutely broke him. Her heart was aching to comfort him and so she did. The shecat bounded towards him and rubbed her muzzle against his cheek. "I understand how you feel. I used to look up to Owlstar as well." She sighed. Ebonyfate nuzzled the shecat back before redirecting his gaze towards the confrontation.

"I killed no one. This type of hostility is what stops us from being a proper clan. If anything I think that you killed them, Treefall. All of this sudden angst when I actually decide to try and find the killer." The tom's gaze straightened at the shecat who curled her lip into a snarl and lashed her tail.
" There was always something that made me know that you had something to do with this. You killed Sunpaw because she heard you planning to kill Minnowstar. Then you killed Hawkpaw by pushing him towards the badger because he knew it too and lastly you decided to murder Minnowstar in cold blood." Treefall sunk her claws deeper into the ground. "Minnowstar was my kin I would never even consider killing him. Hawkpaw fell into the badger and it wasn't even the badger that killed him, he fell into the river after getting slashed at. You don't even know how Hawkpaw died yet you assume I did it." The leader's voice was low. Almost annoyingly low especially with how calm he sounded. Way calmer then Treefall. The shecat was known to have a short temper and this would make it easier for Owlstar to sound better. Treefall lost it and launched herself at the tom swinging her claws at his face. Owlstar staggered and almost lost his balance when Mackerelfade leapt to his side and Milkwave knocked the shecat onto her back. "Get him!" Treefall yelled which sent the clan into chaos. Everyone fighting tooth and claw for what they thought was right.

Ebonypaw sat still as horrible memories flooded his mind. "T-this is how they fought back in lonerclan." He stuttered, curling his tail around his haunches. "I can't, I won't!" with that the tom bounded towards the warrior den, not looking back. Breezepaw sighed. His PTSD won't let him fight. It doesn't matter. No one will attack him. Her eyes peered at the conflict, trying to scout out cats to attack. She noticed how Milkwave was the strongest cat in the whole battle. He was Owlstar's son, of course he would fight with all of his strength. Breezepaw ran to Firepaw before giving him a harsh nudge with her shoulder. "Let's go." She grunted. "W-what?" Firepaw's eyes went round with terror. "Don't tell me you're scared of battling a warrior with your training. We're attacking Milkwave." Before he could respond she bounded to the tom, her unexpected impact knocking him onto his side. She swung her claws at his torso before using her paw to slam his head onto the ground, keeping him down. Milkwave was astonished. " You were Owlstar's apprentice. You know that he hasn't done any of this!" Breezepaw let out a purr of amusement. "I do but the clan doesn't." The warrior used all of his strength to pull away from her grip. "You fox heart!" He hauled her by her already nicked ear, gripping it with his teeth. Breezepaw felt the pain beginning to sizzle from it but she didn't care. She was used to it. She grunted before lifting her paw and lashing it at the tom's muzzle which made him stagger. Firepaw then pinned the tom onto his back. His claws raking his white fur. Breezepaw grinned bounded towards him. She shot him a smirk before lifting her claws and piercing them across his throat, sering through skin in her path. Milkwave let out a dying shriek that faded into choked cries for help. This didn't last long however and the tom was soon left dead. Blood trickling from the ragged scar across his neck.
