Jules's POV

"Ari, what's up?"

"Jules please come to the hospital and bring Morgan with you."

"Wait, what? Why? What happened? Wasn't your date with Y/N tonight?"

"We were in a car accident, I am okay I just have to get some glass removed from my skin and some stitches, but I'll be fine. Y/N..."

"Y/N what, Ari?"

"She barely had any pulse, they intubated her. I'm so sorry..."

"Oh my god, we're coming right now."

"We'll be there in a few."

I shot up from the couch, leaving Morgan confused.

"Jules? What's happening?" Morgan quaked, following me.

"We need to go to the hospital. Right now. Call Stewart, tell him he has to be here as soon as possible."

"What? What are you talking about? Why?"

I took a deep breath before talking.

"It's Y/N." My words left them speechless.

It looked like they had stopped breathing for a few seconds, their eyes were open wide.

"Y/N and Ari got into a car crash. It was Ari on the phone, she's fine but Y/N..." I couldn't even bring myself to finish the sentence.

"But Y/N what, Jules?" Morgan raised their voice.

"Y/N...she barely had any pulse, they intubated her." As soon as I said that Morgan picked up their phone and called who I thought was Stewart.

"That's it, we're going. Stewart is going to be here in a few minutes." Their voice was flat, dead.

They headed for the door without even looking at me, and who was I to blame them? We were talking about their best friend in the whole world, the person they spent their whole life with.

It was more than normal for them to react like this.

I followed them downstairs, where they were already waiting at the entrance.

"Call River, he needs to know." I nodded at them and immediately called Y/N's brother, telling him to reach us as quickly as possible.

It didn't take much time for Stewart to pull up in front of us, we both got in and he drove away.

By the way he was speeding, he was worried sick too. Thankfully there weren't many cars being almost two in the morning, so we were pretty much safe.

The ride to the hospital was barely ten minutes long with how fast Stewart was going, and once we got there he followed us inside.

"Hi, sorry, we're looking for Y/N Y/L/N?" Morgan ran to the reception and asked one of the nurses.

"Yes, she is in surgery right now, but her room is number 37."

"Thank you so much."

As we started running in search of the room we saw two more people following us, it didn't take us a lot of time to realize that it was River and their boyfriend.

"Where the fuck is the room!" River shouted after we had been searching for it for a while but hadn't succeeded.

His whole face got red and looked like he could hunt somebody in that state.

Before we could start running again, I realized we were right in front of the emergency room, and that's when I saw her.

"Ari! Oh my gosh!" I almost screamed as soon as I saw her. She had bandages all over her body and a few stitches.

"Jules!" She ran into me and gave me a hug, I tried not to hurt her given the state she was in. "Have they told you where Y/N is? They just brought me here without telling me anything." She asked.

"Yes, the nurse said she's in room 37 but we can't find it!"

"It must be on the second floor, I remember walking in and just briefly looking at the map and it said it was on the second floor, let's go there." Ari got out of my arms and started running out of the room where all the others were.

"Guys, it's on the second floor, follow me!" She gestured for them to follow her and they did, and so did I.

We all quickly went up the stairs and there it was. Room 37.

As we tried to get in we were stopped by a doctor.

"Are you all here for Y/N Y/L/N?"

We all nodded.

"She just got out of surgery, she will be fine but she hasn't woken up yet." He explained, and as happy as the first part of their sentence was, the last bit made my heart break even more.

I felt Morgan cuddle up into me, hearing their sobs shortly after.

"She'll be okay, she'll be okay..." I said caressing their head, trying to soothe them.

Soon everyone joined our hug, we all became a family for a moment, but thinking about it, we kinda were.

We were all there for Y/N, we all deeply cared about her and we had to look out for her.

After a few moments, we all sat down in the waiting room while the doctors finished settling Y/N in her room.

"I'll go get some water." Morgan told me before getting up.

This was it, I had to do it now.

I also got up once Morgan was too far away to see me and I went where I was sure no one could hear me.

I didn't think what I wanted to do was bad, I just preferred if I did it alone.

The phone rang for a few seconds before she picked up.

"Hello Jules, why are you calling me now?" Her voice was hoarse, I probably woke her up.

"Mrs. Maximoff, sorry if I'm waking you, but I think you would want to know this."

"What Jules?"

"Y/N was involved in a car crash, she just got out of surgery, the doctors said she will be fine but she hasn't woken up yet. I know everything that happened between you two and yes, I know you haven't been talking but I know you still care, you both do. You need to come here right now."
