Chapter 33

Junkyu POV

"You are lying, right?" I sniffed, staring down at Haruto after he told me how he found Juria in Japan and made an agreement with her behind my back.

He was kneeling in between my legs, burying his face on my stomach with arms wrapped around my torso. His shoulders shook with the intensity of his tears and gasped for breath as he cried his guilt away.

"Tell me you're lying, Haru.." I begged. "Tell me it is just your way to get back on me because I said I like her.." I begged harder, making a scenario that I knew wasn't the case, yet in my head, it's better to be fooled than to hear the truth.

Haruto was just crying, even louder, and tightened his arms around me. My emotion came to a turmoil, it was frustrating with every second passed without Haruto saying anything. I put my fingers on his shoulders and pulled him away. "Tell me you are lying!" I screamed on top of my lungs, shaking him by his shoulders like a maniac, my heartbeats ran like racing horses.

He shook his head. "I'm sorry, I just want all the best for us, for Haruka and Haruto... You were worried the twins going to think they're different, and they don't have to now since they shared the same blood, and maybe when they're older people can see their resemblance and they won't ask them stupid questions... I did this for them, for us..." He said in between his sobs.

"You did that for them? for US?" I felt something heavy pressing on my chest as my heart pumped hot blood at a faster rate. "By hiding it from me! Without considering my feelings!" I screamed out of frustration, pushing him down to the floor as I got up from the sofa. "How could you do this! You know how I feel about their parents! They don't need anyone to make them less different! I'm their father! They're my children! My children! MINE!" I screamed!

I bit back my tears as my legs gave up on me and I stumbled back on the sofa. "Nine months.." I breathed, hiding my face in my hands. "You're hiding this from me for nine months.. What did you take me for? A joke?"

Haruto crawled and placed his hands on my knees. "Babe, it's not like that.. I.."

"How was it, Haruto? Was it funny? Watching me excitedly introducing the twins to her, allowing her to get close with the twins, taking the twins out with her.. With someone that you know for sure I don't want the twins to have anything to do with.. Was it funny? Did you have fun laughing behind my back?" I pushed my hands through my hair and let out a shaky laugh. He fooled me for nine months. They fooled me for nine months. "You and her must've had so much fun laughing at me."

Juria. How dare she fooled me? Using me to get the twins?

I unconsciously shook my head. No, Juria is a nice and kind person. She won't use me. She's not capable of doing nasty things. She's too innocent of a woman for that. She talked about her children in Japan with me and I knew she's telling the truth. There's no way the twins are hers.

Maybe Haruto lied to me. Maybe he just wants me to hate Juria. With Haruto's jealousy, it's possible for him to trick me so I won't see Juria again.

Wiping off my tears, I got up abruptly and ran upstairs. I should ask Juria. She won't lie to me. She's always honest with me, right?

I heard Haruto's footsteps following me from behind but I locked the door before he could enter our bedroom. I quickly changed the goddamn costume with a random t-shirt and jeans and actual brief boxers, and splashed my face with cold water on the sink. With my phone and wallet in hand, I went to unlock the door.

"Babe, where are you going?" Haruto asked as I walked past him. I ignored him and rushed down the stairs. "Babe, please.. Where are you going?" He asked again as he followed me down.
