The next morning Becky wakes up to a new day. She then remembers the promise she made to Tobey. She turned to look at Bob to her surprise wasn't there. "Bob?" Becky changed and headed down stairs to the kitchen. No sign of Bob nor any sign of him eating breakfast. "Mom, dad have either of you seen Bob." "No honey we haven't" said Mr.Botsford. TJ was coming down the stairs. "TJ have you seen Bob." "No, why?"
"He's not in his hammock sleeping in nor is here eating breakfast. I better go look for him." "Good idea, be safe and let us know what you find" said Mrs.Botsford. Becky transforms into Wordgirl and searches the city from top to bottom. She then sees one of Tobeys robots just standing there. She flies towards it and looks around, but no Tobey. She looks up at the robot as it stands still unactivated. The winds blows as an eerie silence surrounds Wordgirl and suddenly Tobey shows up.
"Tobey, what is this" Wordgirl yells.
"This is me saying to you is that you lied to me and showed no trust in me. Becky. I captured your monkey Bob just to see if you "Wordgirl" would show up without your sidekick. Turns out I'm right."
"Where is he?"
"He's close by I promise, he's right under your nose even." Wordgirl uses her xray vision to see Bob stuck inside the robots stomach. She flys in and tears away to get to Bob. "Ahhhhhh eee" Bob exclaims. "I know Bob, we'll figure it out later." As she unstraps Bob Tobey hits a button which opens a portal sucking the two of them in. They appear in another city unfamiliar to both. Suddenly peopel start to scream and the two look up. A giant golden globe is falling off a building right behind them. Wordgirl flys out of the way. "Whoa!" They see a man in blue trying to stop this golden globe.
"Kara, is that you? I need your help." "Okay" says Wordgirl. Wordgirl grabs the top of the daily planet globe and superman pushes up. They set it back in place and use their laser vision to weld it on top of the building. Superman flys over to say thank you.
"Wait, your not kara. Who are you?"
"I'm wordgirl."
"Wordgirl? Do use words to defeat your villains."
"No, I'm called that because I define words a lot or at least I used to. So why did that globe start falling?"
"That's what I'm wondering? How did you get here?"
"A villain from my city sent me here through a portal."
"What's your city called?"
"It's Fair City."
"I never heard of Fair city and I never heard of you before."
"He must have teleported you from your Earth to this Earth."
"This Earth!"
"I'm afraid your stuck here till I can send you back. In the meantime I have to go do something for a friend in another city."
"Who are they?"
"Batman."
"Batman is real here! He's nothing but my brothers favorite superhero of his comics where I'm from."
"Well he's definitely real here. He's leaving gotham to do something important as Bruce Wayne elsewhere. So I promised to take care of Gotham for him till he comes back."
"We'll help anyway we can."
"Then off we go then."
The two fly off to Gotham city and head to Arkham Asylum.
"The villains here are extremely dangerous so best to ignore what they say. Don't let them get to you."
"Got it." Huggy speaks with concern. "It'll be okay Huggy."
