Miss Power Returns

"Welcome back readers, when we last saw Wordgirl she and Kidmath were confronted by none other than Miss Power. What will our super heroin do?"

"I'll tell you what I'm going to do" Wordgirl says as she instantly takes off as Kidmath gets scared and flys off chasing after her.

"Cowards, I must admit I didn't think you two would be the ones to run from a fight" Miss Power says as she flys after them.

Wordgirl uses her coms and asks "Tobey, do you have that teleporter still?"

"What teleporter?"

"You know, the one that you used to zap me and Huggy to another universe."

The rest of the gang stare at Tobey with questionable faces as this was new information for them. Tobey chuckled nervously as he said "I believe I do, but why?"

"We're going to send Miss Power far away from here. Get it set up and me and Rex will lure her to it."

Wordgirl waits for Miss Power to catch up with Kidmath at her side. "Rex, go meet up with Tobey and make sure he and the others are safe. I'll handle Miss Power alone."

"Are you sure, she seems very tough" Rex asked concerned.

"Well I've changed since our last meet. I'm tougher now, so there's nothing to worry about. Now go!"

Rex seeing how calm and composed she was took her word and blast off to meet the others. Wordgirl feeling confident that she could defeat Miss Power pulls out a piece of Kryptonite from a hidden pocket. She remembered putting some in her pocket before she left their world. She put it in her hand as she gripped it tight in her fist. She waits as she sees Miss Power fly down and smash right into the ground.

"Waiting for me, aw you shouldn't have."

"Listen Miss Power, someone once told me to give villains a second chance, so this is my only offer. Turn back right now and never return."

"Humh, tempting but no" Miss Power says as she flys in to tackle Wordgirl to the ground. Wordgirl moves her arm back and swings it forward with the Kryptonite in her hand and hits Miss Power right in the left cheek. Miss Power is sent flying back as Wordgirl flys after her. Miss Power ends up crashing all the way back to the city as she crashes into one of the skyscrapers. Wordgirl was shocked to see how far she hit Miss Power. She then realizes that there were people below as debri of glass and a metal beam were about to fall on them. She flys as fast as she can to the pedestrians as she yells "Look out!"

The people look up and see and move as fast as they can out of the way. A little boy however was frozen in fear as his mother turned around and said "Micheal." Wordgirl not having enough time to grab the boy flys in and stands over and grabs him as the glass hits her cape. The metal beam comes in and hits her on her back and  deflects hitting a car as the alarm goes off. Wordgirl stands up and uses her Disruptors to shut the car alarm off. The boy turns and looks at her and says "Thank you Wordgirl." He runs off into his mother's arms as she embraces him with tears in her eyes. She looks at Wordgirl as she mouths thank you and walks away.

Wordgirl was glad to have saved everyone, but she was the one who put them in danger in the first place. She needed to be more careful. Meanwhile Miss Power seeing the destruction caused by her crash flys out of the building and uses her laser vision to damage the one side of the building further. Melting the beams causing the floors to become unstable and the structural integrity of the building was compromised. The building began to lean as Wordgirl tried to stop it. The people below were screaming with fear as they all were running away from the collapsing building. To everyone's surprise Wordgirl was actually holding the building up.
