Wordbot stares at Miss Power as she says "Target acquired, Miss Power."
"Great, so now I got two of you to destroy" Miss Power says.
"Sorry Miss Power, not today" Wordgirl says as she comes from behind and puts Miss Power in a chokehold. Wordbot joins in as she grabs Miss Powers arms stretching them out.
"Now Tobey" the two say at once. Tobey activates the teleporter and sets the coordinates for deep space at least two light years away. A portal opens as the two overpowered beings throw Miss Power through and into space. They stand by the portal opening as Miss Power tries to fly back. Tobey manages to close it right before she makes it back through.
"There, she's long gone and without her ship it'll be hard for her to make it back" Wordgirl says.
"Yes, good. Now it's my turn" Wordbot says. She tackles Wordgirl down to the ground as the two struggle to push each other back.
"Listen to me, Tobey and I apologize for what we've done. You're fighting us for something in the past. You need to let go and move on."
"Spare the sympathy. Tobey was mine, you stole him from me and that makes Wordbot mad. Wordbot realizes my true enemy is Wordgirl."
"Well technically Tobey is the one who cheated on you."
"What" Tobey exclaims.
"Oh come on don't act like you don't know. You were using her to draw me in and then started flirting with me. Wordbot has every right to mad but it should be with you."
"Fine I guess you have a point."
"Then Wordbots true enemy is Tobey."
Wordbot flys towards Tobey, but Wordgirl grabs her by the cape and slams her down into the dirt.
Wordbot flips onto her back asking "Why do you attack me still? Wordbot is after Tobey our true enemy. I thought you didn't like Tobey?"
"Well I didn't before, but now that's changed. I do care about him now recently and whether I did or didn't he's still a person worthy to be saved. That's what a hero does."
"Well your going to have to find someone else. Wordbot loves Tobey, it's in her programming."
Wordbot grabs Wordgirl as the two fly up in the air. Wordbot punches Wordgirl on the face as she spins in the air.
"Ow, I don't remember our fights being so painful before."
"Sorry to bud in mid battle, but you neveractually fought her in hand to hand combat before."
"Guess you have a piont there." Wordbot punches Wordgirl again as she is pushed farther ahead. When Wordgirl regains control she looks to see the city behind her. She remembers what just happened with Miss Power as she put innocent people lives in danger. Wordgirl looks as Wordbot comes flying in as she braces for impact. Wordbot continues to come at Wordgirl at full speed, but Wordgirl stops her to a stand still. She then punches Wordbot sending her flipping up in the air.
As Wordbot regains control Wordgirl flys in hot and fires her laser Vision. It hits Wordbot right in the chest as part of her metal is scorched with some of her red paint melted off. Wordbot retreats back to the forest to through Wordgirl off.
Wordgirl uses her x-ray vision and locates her quickly behind a massive tree. Wordgirl flys to her, but Wordbot flys away up into the sky. Wordgirl chases her down, but is making up no ground.
"Hello Wordgirl, why don't you just use your Disruptors to knock Wordbot out" her A.I. Tobi said.
"Well it did work before. Here we go" Wordgirl says. A blast of disruptor energy hits Wordbot. She jutter and jiggles, but seemed unfazed. "It didn't work" Wordgirl says.
"Actually Worbot seems to be working off of sheer will power now" Tobey says over the coms.
"Great, so now I'm fighting a ghost in a shell."
"Wordbot is no ghost, I am vengeance."
"Hey that's Batman's line, you can't.." Wordgirl says as Worbot flys them straight into the ground.
"Why do you care about Tobey so much anyways?"
"Tobey made me to love him, it's Wordbots programming."
"You see that's your problem. Your just a machine following your programming. You don't have to follow it you can make your own decisions."
Wordbot freezes as she ponders in thought. She let's Wordgirl go as she says "Wordbot has come to a realization. Wordgirl is right, Wordbot is much more than her programming. I am strong, fast, and beautiful."
"Yeah, there you go, and nice use of the word realization."
Wordbot extends a hand out as Wordgirl grabs it and stands up.
"Thanks, appreciate that."
"Your welcome. Wordbot is leaving to do some self discovery. I must find my new purpose." Wordbot turns her head around and says "Goodbye Wordgirl." With that she flys off into the blue sky.
Wordgirl flys back to the team as they all ask if she's alright.
"I'm fine guys really."
"Where's Wordbot" Violet asks.
"I helped her to rethink her choices, so we shouldn't be hearing from her any time soon. Besides Tobey should be able to track her right?"
"Actually I've lost her remote control so I technically have no way to track her at the moment" Tobeys says twiddling his fingers.
The entire team sighed in annoyance. "Anyways, we should get this teleporter back to the ship" Wordgirl says. Wordgirl and Tobey take the machine into a storage room on the ship.
"Alright Tobey, just make sure that this machine doesn't fall into the wrong hands. We don't need any more surprises for a while."
"Agreed."
The two walk out the room as the door shuts behind them. Not long after the teleporter activates as a portal opens and a burnt Wordgirl helmet came through. The portal fizzled out as a figure stood on the other side.
