"About a week later Team Wordgirl is in the secret hideout keeping an eye on the city."
"Do you see anything on the monitors Huggy" Wordgirl asked.
Huggy squeaks that everything is normal.
"Well I think this is the most peace we've had in a month" Rose says.
"Well at least it means we can relax and not have to run around everywhere" Scoops adds.
"Becky don't you want to relax" Violet asks.
"No, I feel better once Tobey here can finish up with this new tracker for Wordbot."
"If you would just give me a minute I'm almost done, there. Now to hone in on her signal. Hugh, odd I'm getting nothing."
"Is the machine on full power?"
"Yes, yes everything is working I checked. Maybe she really does have a spirit now. It would explain why the tracker can't pick her up. Let me just move around the ship and keep trying."
Tobey walks around the ship for a signal when he suddenly gets one. "Ah ha, I got a signal coming in from the storage room."
"She can't be in the storage room right? We should have heard her. You wouldn't happen to know would you" Wordgirl asks.
"I'm sorry, but my contract prevents me from saying specifically what's in the storage room. Your just gonna have to head in there and find out for yourselves."
"Thanks, let's go Tobey."
The lights flicker as a surge of purple energy moves throughout the ship. Wordgirl and Tobey get to the storage room and find the broken helmet.
"This looks like mine, but why is it so damaged?"
"Becky, you might want to look up" Tobey says.
Wordgirl looks up as the teleporter was on as a portal with a purple hue was opened. On the other side a silhouette of what looked to be another supergirl was standing there.
"Is that me?"
"I don't know you tell me?"
Wordgirl looks closer as the silhouette extends a hand reaching out. She floats up towards the portal and extends her hand as they grab hold. The silhouette super pulls Wordgirl through and out the other side.
Wordgirl holds her hand up as a bright light hits her eyes. She looks up to see the other supergirl. As her eyes adjust she sees that it's her. It was this worlds version of Wordgirl looking at her with a emotionless face.
"Get up" the other Wordgirl said.
Wordgirl looked at her other world counterpart who looked just a year older. Her suit was mostly black with a few touches of red. She was also wearing shiny bracelets at the ends of her gloves and no helmet.
