Wordgirl meets Superman (Part 2)

Wordgirl, Huggy, and Superman were now surrounded by Cyborg Superman and a group of Batman's rogue gallery. "What do we do now" Wordgirl asked. "We hold our ground don't let any escape."

The villians all attack at once, Wordgirl and Huggy lock hands and do a windmill attack. The knock down ivy, catwoman, and two face down to the ground. Bane goes for a punch but  Superman punches in the face knocking him back and quickly disconnects his tubes. Ivy goes to a plant barrage attack but Wordgirl quickly flies in the air and lasers the plants. She then flys and launches Huggy knocking her down. Two face gets a hold of a pipe of swings it hitting Wordgirl in the back of the head. The pipe bends and she turns rising in the air as the moon lit up behind her.

With him distracted Huggy dropkicks him to the ground. Scarecrow makes his move and releases his secret stash of fear toxin. Wordgirl goes to suck it in but Superman stops her. Instead the both blow the breath at the same time blowing away his cover. He falls to the ground in fear and gives up. Lastly clay face goes for both Superman and Wordgirl but the two fly in the air and fly in circles around him with their freeze breath till he his frozen like a statue with his hand reaching out. Catwoman looks and puts her hands in the air and says "I surrender."

The Wordgirl and Superman look and see Cyborg Superman has Huggy in his clutches. They both go to help but Cyborg then says "Take another step and he becomes roasted monkey."
They back off knowing he's not bluffing.

"What do you want Hank" Superman asks.

"The Death of Superman."

"How is now any different from before?"

"Because this time I have a real plan and I have the help I need."

I assume the Joker is a part of this plan of yours which is why you freed him.

Nice to know that your keeping up. This plan of mine still needs some time so till then just to make sure you don't capture me now I'm taking this monkey as my insurance policy."

Cyborg hits a button and a teleportation beam appears and zaps and him and Huggy away. "Huggy" Wordgirl shouts as they disappear before she and Superman could get to them. "He's gone. He's my best friend, I don't know what I'll do without him."

Wordgirl falls to the ground in defeat as she feels like she has lost everything. Superman puts a hand on her shoulder to reassure and comfort her. "We'll get him back, I promise nothing is going to happen to him."

Later the two were sitting outside Supermans home as Wordgirl sat outside on the porch. "She looks depressed" Lois Lane says. "Yeah, she was devastated when it happened." I need to figure out what Hanks plans are and who he's working with. Wordgirl stares at the moon wondering where Huggy is as he is doing the same from inside his cell.

"Squeak" Huggy says shaking the bars. "Shut it, just be glad you're still alive" shouts Cyborg Superman. Hey  how's that concoction of yours coming along."

"Just a little more time, and the boy in blue will be the the boy in red" Joker says. "What about you, how's the bot coming along?" Huggy stares at a boy working in a corner welding. He takes off his welding mask to reveal Tobeys face. Huggy starts to squeak as he is mad at Tobey for putting him and Wordgirl in this situation. The boy looks at Huggy with a confused face.

"Everything is coming along just fine. It should be done in the next hour" the Tobey look alike says.

"Good, this plan needs to he fool proof  Toyman." Huggy realizes that this must be Tobeys counterpart on this Earth. Huggy remembers his distress signal on his belt but Cyborg Superman notices and snatches it just before Huggy could press the button.
"Nice try monkey but you're calling no one till I say so."

Wordgirl continues to sit on the porch of supermans house when her belt begins to beep. "Huggy." "Wordup" she says flying away at record speeds. Superman and Lois here this and rush out. "She's going to get herself into trouble lo." "Be careful" she says. He takes off and chases Wordgirl down to Huggys location.

Wordgirl uses her superhearing to locate Huggy. She hears the beeping from his belt and follows it to the middle of a street. Cyborg Superman awaits her as she flys down with her fist down on the pavement cracking it causing rubble to appear. People start to run as they realize a fight is about to break out.

Wordgirl with her eyes fiery red stares Cyborg Superman down with her teeth together grinding and breathing heavily. "Where Is Huggy" she demands. "Sorry dearie, but I can't let you roam this Earth and get in the way of my plans. I going to destroy you here and now and then Superman. Never to see your precious little sidekick ever again."

Wordgirl becomes infuriated as she blasts her laser vision at him. He blocks this with his hand as he smiles. "Hahaha, you laser vision is weak, but you definitely have potential." The he rushes in and grabs her by the face and blasts green gas on her face. "It's Kryptonite, the weakness of any Kryptonian." Wordgirl then blasts her laser vision again heating up Cyborgs hand. "Ahhhhhh, that's impossible. Your powers should be gone." Wordgirl gets up with her eyes glowing a fiery red and says "I am no Kryptonian." With her laser vision charged she fires again as Superman flys in and blasts his laser vision along with Wordgirls which destroys Cyborgs Arm. "Ahh" he cries but before they could apprehend him he is teleported away for a second time.

"We have to go after him" she says but falls to her knees. "Easy, that's what happens when you use your laser vision for too long. It acts as a way to release your power."

"How are we going to stop him?"

"That's not important right now. Right now we need to make sure your okay."

Wordgirl protests as she gets up "I'm fine but he tried to weaken me with something called Kryptonite. He sprayed it in my face, but it didn't work on me."

"Kryptonite! That peices of my homeworld that are scattered around space. It drains me of my powers, and if potent enough it can kill me."

"Same for me, when I'm exposed to Lexiconite it weakens my powers and gives me a cold." Superman ponders about the whereabouts Kryptonite can be found. "There's only three ways Hank could have gotten his hands on Kryptonite. He's either gotten his hands on Batman's secret stash in the batcave, he found it from a meteor somewhere, or from Luthor."

"Whose Luthor" Wordgirl asks.

"One of my enemies who is always trying to destroy me. I say it's time we paid him a visit at Lex Corp." The two quickly take off and head to Lex Corp to get some answers.
