The New Becky

Becky tries her best to think about how she can improve herself image and not just for Tobey but everyone else she knows. With no ideas she walks over to TJs room and knocks on the door. He was listening to music with his air pods when he noticed her at his door. He pauses his music and pulls an earbud out as he asks "What's up Becky, you needed something?"

"Yes actually I do, I came for some advice and I thought you'd might be able to help me."

"Wow, this certainly doesn't happen often. Okay I'm all ears, what's the problem?"

"I need an upgrade in my fashion sense. Tobey has told me recently that I'm stuck in the past and I'm afraid that means my wardrobe too."

"Well, I don't no much about how girls try to look nice for the boys but I do know what we boys like to in a girl. First off your clothing says a lot about you as a person and who you are. Now you ditched wearing that green sweater with that purple red skirt of yours for more variety in your clothing. So maybe just get a few more outfits that will really make a guy say wow. Second, how about you using some girl products like lipstick, makeup, and some perfume. Last you could play around with your hairstyle too and see what's best. Just having long straight hair isn't going to cut it. I'm no expert though I suggest you get Violet or Rose to help you further."

Becky smiles and hugs TJ around the head and says "Thanks little Bro."

(Gasping for Breath) "Anytime Becky, but mind me asking is this because you like Tobey."

Becky's eyes widen and starts holding her TJ harder as he begins to struggle breathing as he tries to loosen her grip on him. She finally let's go after seeing TJ struggle as he breathes in and put heavily.

"Oh, sorry TJ. Are you okay" she asks.

"Don't worry, I'm fine, just give me a minute."

"I guess I still don't know my own strength."

"Okay, now answer my question? Do you like Tobey?"

"Come on TJ, we're just friends how could I possibly like him. What makes you even think that. "

"The last two times he was here at our house you were acting very awkward both of you. I could feel the tension in the air if that's possible."

"That obvious huh."

"Yeah, I mean I'm happy for you but I like you the way you are big sis but things change. Look at me I've changed a lot from who I was five years ago."

"Yeah, it was different but me, Mom, and Dad got use to the new you after a while."

"All I'm saying is I don't want you to change to much from who you are. Just because you're trying to impress somebody or whatever don't stop being you."

"I won't TJ, I promise. And hey, don't stop being Wordgirls #1 fan either."

"I promise" TJ says.

They smile at each other as Becky enlist the help of Violet and Rose to help her out. They go to the mall and shop for Becky some new clothes. After they find some great things for Becky's makeup and finally they go to the salon to get her hair done. Once they were done they head to Becky's house to give her the finishing touches.

"Just a little more, and perfection" Violet says.

"OMG Becky, you look amazing girl. Look at yourself in the mirror" Rose says.

"Wow, I do look amazing."

"Actually, I would even say you look stunning."

"Stunning, big word. You really think I look that good?"

"Yes girl, now remember all you have to do is take care of your look. Do a touch up in the morning and impress Tobey. Afterwards you clean your face and reapply whenever" Rose says.

"Well we'll be going see you tomorrow  Becky" Violet says.

"Goodbye" Becky says in reply.

She ponders if this new look of hers will truly work and impress Tobey. She didn't even know how to even begin flirting in the slightest. She goes to her room and closes the door and summons Tobi.

"Tobi you there?"

"Yes my lady."

"Alright I have three questions to ask you?"

"Fire away."

"One, what do think of my new look? I had my hair done, got some makeup, and got on a new outfit."

"I say you look even more magnificent than normal Becky."

"Okay then that leads me to my second question, what does the real Tobey think?"

"Well it's certainly a change but do enjoy your new look. Just goes to show how beautiful you can be."

"So he doesn't mind my new look then. Alright then last question, how would I talk to him to show I willing to go the next step without straight up telling him in front of everyone else?"

"I would suggest telling him to see you after school at which he will get the hint and meet up after school. Then you'll proceed to tell him how you truly feel."

"Easier said than done."

"The next day at Fair View High"

"Hi Tobey."

"Oh hello Beckyyy."

Tobey mouth was wide open as he had never seen Becky so beautiful before.

"What you think of my new look?"

"It's pretty nice actually but you didn't have to do all this for me. I think you're perfect just the way you are."

"You're just saying that."

"I mean every word of it."

Becky smiles as they look into each other's eyes. Violet and Rose watch from their lockers as they see their plan had worked.

"Say how about we go and do something fun together" Tobey says.

"Alright, what exactly did you have in mind?"

"I was thinking we could go bowling, have some lunch and then have a nice stroll  in the park."

"I'm down, so how about Saturday?"

"Saturday it is, so is this a"

"Yes Tobey it is."

"It's a date."
