Becky stood there trying to rap her head around all that she was hearing. As she stood there not knowing what to say a servant came with a DNA test kit.
"Please my child, step forward" the King asks.
Becky steps forward as the king says "Please place your finger here." Becky removes one of her gloves as she places her finger on a scanner while the king places his on the other side. It scans their fingerprints as well as prick them for a drop of blood. Becky jolts back as she looks to see her finger bleeding. She had never seen her own blood before. The King handed her a wipe to clean the blood from her finger. The scan completed as it compiled all the available data into a file. They look at the screen to see it had 100% match displayed on it. Becky couldn't believe her eyes as she looked to the king.
"I know this may come as a shock for you. I see that you will need time to process all this. Give it time, I'm sure it will all start coming back to you. As for you Captain Huggyface a reunion with your family is in order. Afterwards a celebration shall be held for you two's safe return."
Huggy waved as he was escorted away to see his family. "Bye Huggy, see you soon okay" Becky says.
"Aaaah-eeee" Huggy squeaked.
"You and Huggy are close I see."
"He pretty much kept me safe and was by my side all my life. Sometimes I forget he's older than me by a lot due to his behavior."
"Well then let's gets you reacquainted with the family. First your mother Sinclair was the last to see you the day you dissapeared. She was worried sick about you."
"Hello my dear, give your mother a hug." Becky walks over and hugs her biological mother. "Aw, look at you so tall and beautiful. You look just like me."
Becky did look like her, a spitting image really.
"So who else is a part of the family" Becky asks.
"Well your grandparents would be glad to see you, your Aunts and Uncles especially your cousins. There will be plenty of time to meet them later, but why don't we get you situated, there must be plenty on your mind" her mom says.
"Yes well I don't plan on staying long I have to return to earth to settle some matters."
"All in due time my dear, but you should enjoy yourself while your here. Now I know you must have plenty of questions you want to ask so ask away" the king says.
"Well I like to read books a lot, books are my favorite thing. My spaceship has a whole library full of books so I wonder is that just a me thing or is that a Lexiconian thing?"
"It is a Lexiconian thing my dear. We are the most advanced race in the galaxy when it comes to literary things. That's why we have thousands of Libraries filled with books all over the planet" the king says.
"How about art then? I see we have some great art pieces here."
"Yes, art is a very common practice for our people. Though some persue it more than others and have a real knack for it. Follow us and we can show you" Becky's mother says.
They walk into a big room in the castle where there were numerous paintings on the wall as well as many being painted live. "Whoa" Becky said captivated by the masterful peices of art around her. She levitated up to one that was two stories high on the wall. It was a picture of her father in a warriors armor. "Is this you dad" Becky asks.
"It sure is" he replies.
"Your father did some great things for our planet in his early years" her mother says.
"Are we good at painting" Becky asks facing down towards her parents.
"Why we are some of the best artists in the galaxy, why you ask" her father asks.
"Well it seems it's the one thing I'm not very good at. Everything I paint always seems to turn out into a black splotch."
"Nonsense, with some guided instructions I'm sure you can make something wonderful" her mother encourages her.
"Baessel will help you" her father says.
Baessel pointed to a easel and stool beside him. Becky flys down and sits as she picks up a brush. About 30 minutes later she had a finished painting. Her parents walk over to see the finished product.
"Well, I'm sure you'll improve with time" her mother said.
Just then Lexi comes in and walks up to the king and whispers in his ear. He looks at Becky who is still admiring her painting.
"Well duty calls my darling, I'm afraid I must take my leave. Feel free to explore more of the castle, Lexi will keep you company. Your mother and I will see you later" her father says as they walk out the room together.
"Alright, see you later" Becky says as she watches them leave.
"Did you know dad was a hero" Becky asks Lexi.
"Yeah, I do" Lexi says to Becky still hovering in the air. "What exactly did he do" Becky asks.
"He was a war hero a good one too. It was way back when before we were alive."
Becky noticed the paintings on one side of the wall was of men with the other wall being women.
"Why's is the men and women on different sides?"
"They are the house of Davar. Past relatives with one side being all the males of the past and the other side women. All who have contributed to the house or society in a big way. Would you like to see more pictures?"
"Sure" Becky says. "Right down this hall" Lexi points. Becky walks down the hall to see pictures of her parents and one with them holding a baby.
"Is this me" Becky asks.
"Yep, that's was made shortly after you were born."
"I look just like mom" Becky says as she looks at another picture. It was a baby too, but it looked different from Becky.
"Why does the baby in this picture look different?"
"It's actually a picture of their second daughter."
"Wait so they had another baby?"
"With you gone they kinda had another kid though they still held out hope for you."
"So I have a sister? Who is she" Becky asks as she turns facing Lexi.
"Your speaking to her. I'm your sister Becky."
