Eden was starting to get the feeling that Laura was still angry at her for picking the Slytherins over her friends, Eden hated that she had done that but she did have reasons. Laura was a pureblood who had been raised as a witch; she fitted in so easily with the atmosphere of Hogwarts. Eden was just a half-blood who hadn't been raised as a witch; she had to at least try to not be hexed by a Slytherin. She was not one of those people who called muggleborns "mudbloods" because she did have friends who are muggleborn, so it is quite awkward in conversations when other Slytherins call people "mudblood" and it's even more awkward when they talk about Eden's friends. A few days earlier they were talking about Ella and Anna. They were calling them "mudbloods" and were saying how they were so dumb. But they're not; they're two of the smartest girls in their year. Ella was amazing at history of magic and Anna was fantastic at charms. Eden definitely didn't think that blood status determined magic skills or knowledge. Catherine was a half-blood and she was extremely smart too.  Eden really didn't know what she was going to do anymore, Laura wanted to hang out with their friends in other houses, Eden did too but she needed to maintain where she stood with the Slytherins, after all she did have to sleep and live in the same area as them. She hadn't really made many friends in Slytherin besides Draco, he was not as bad as people say, and he was kind of nice sometimes. Eden really didn't mind the Slytherins actually, but she could not stand Snape. She wanted to hug whoever tried to ruin his office.

Aneesha stumbled through the portrait whole, shaking all the snow off of her before she sat beside the fire and warmed up. She had gone for a walk around the grounds for some time to think; now she knew what to do. She saw Hermione and Ron doing some homework at a table so she went up to them.

"Ron, do you know where Fred and George are?" she asked the ginger,

"No, why?" he replied,

"I just needed to tell them something. Do either of you know where Keira is?"

"Last time I saw her she was in our room, you should check there," Hermione answered,

"Thanks," Aneesha smiled at the pair,

"Oh, Aneesha, you've got snow in your hair," Hermione said just as Aneesha was about to turn away,

"Thanks." Aneesha said again. She turned her back and walked up the stairs, she took a deep breath before going into her room. When she opened the door she saw Keira on her bed looking out the window.

"What are you looking at?" Aneesha asked her, she mustn't have heard Aneesha come in since she did a little jump when she spoke.

"Just the snow, it's beautiful," She looked at Aneesha and giggled, "And you have some in your hair."

"Oh yeah, I went for a walk. I just needed some fresh air to think."

"About what?"

"I want to tell McGonagall about what we did. I can't hold it in anymore, and I know you're bursting to tell her but you're scared of the consequences. We might not even be expelled! We might be let off easy!" Keira looked at Aneesha for a while and then spoke,
