Chapter 19: Time To Adjust

Audriella's POV:

Luna and I walk into my house. As soon as the door closes my father walks out of the living room, meeting my eyes.

"Amore" He sighed, pulling me into a hug. I wrap my arms around him and tuck my head into his chest.

"Hi papa" I responded, guilt creeping in. "I'm sorry I took off, I just.." I started

"Do not apologize, Amore. I understand why you left. I just wish you had at least answered my calls, I started to worry." He sighed before pulling back and looking down at me. "I promise you, I will figure everything out and fix it for you, Audriella. This is not the way I imagined your first day in the business would go. I thought there would be a fight. I just thought it would be between us; you hating me for keeping you out of it, and for allowing you to hate Zayn." He sighed apologetically.

I was about to respond when he noticed Luna behind me.

"Luna, dear. I didn't see you, I was so focused on Audrey. How are you doing, kiddo?" He smiled, pulling her into a hug. Which she returned

"Hey, Zio. I'm okay. Just glad I no longer have to keep the biggest secret I've ever had from my best friend anymore." She smiled before stepping over to me and grabbing my arm. "We are gonna go hang out in Audrey's room. If you need us, that's where we'll be!" She smiled pulling me away and up the stairs.

I pulled my clothes off and got redressed in shorts and a tank top. Luna just sat on the bed, turning on my tv.

As soon as I finished getting dressed there was a knock on the door before it opens.

"This is so fucking weird. I'm never going to get used to coming in through this door." Leo chuckles, looking at the door before closing it. His eyes meet mine and smiles, "Hey, Audrey."

I smile, walking over to him and pulling him into a hug. "Hey," I sighed, burying my head in his chest. His hands rub my back as he places a kiss on the top of my head, turning to look at Luna on the bed.

"Hey, LuLu, funny running into you here." He smiles, I turn my head to look at her and she just shakes her head.

"Yes, because you didn't just text to ask me if we were here." She rolls her eyes.

Leo shrugs, looking down at me "She's lying, I didn't do that. I just knew you were here all on my own." I just chuckle, stepping away from him, grabbing his arm, and pulling him to sit on the bed with us.

We all sat on the bed for a while, talking about anything and everything. I hadn't seen Luna since we got fro-yo what feels like forever ago. She apparently already knew that Leo and I were hanging out. Since she's not involved in anything, she wasn't required to tell Zayn. So I guess Leo was able to talk to her about it.

"That would have been fun to know." I chuckle, playing with his fingers in my lap. "I could have had someone to talk to about it, instead of hiding it from everyone." I sigh, leaning my head against his shoulder.

"Honestly, I always forgot about it until he mentioned it again. We didn't talk about it very often." Luna shrugs, as the movie ends and she turns on the next one, scrolling through her phone.

My phone beeps from the bedside table and Leo grabs it, handing it to me.

###-###-####-It's Zayn. Hi.

I sat up, looking at the text. I glanced at Luna, who was still looking at her phone a slight smirk on her lips, but otherwise ignoring my sudden actions. Leo on the other hand just looks at me confused.

Audriella- Hey...How'd you get my number?

I simply responded, biting my nails and quickly adding his number to my contacts. I look at Leo "What do I save Zayn's name as in my phone? I can't use Zayn, and Z seems a little obvious. I mean, I did L for you, but we met one time that people knew about, no one was just going to assume it was you." I ask.
