Five Weeks Later:

Audriella's POV:

We just finished another meeting with Zayn, Leo, and my dad, lucking Elena isn't as this meeting.

It was decided that I would publicly be taking over for my father in six months, now five months. Much sooner than the guys originally told me at our first training session. I guess I'm a faster learner than they thought.

"Wait, so say someone breaks a code or steps out of line. Do they automatically get thrown out?" I ask, looking at my dad.

"Not always. It really depends on what they did. Sometimes a quick reprimanding and a reminder of the codes we must follow is enough. Other times being thrown out isn't enough and they are killed." He answers and I nod.

As we are talking there is a knock on the study doors.

"Mr. Moretti. There is someone on the home phone for you." Alice calls through the door. We aren't in an official meeting at the moment so the room isn't locked and soundproofed.

"Yes, great Alice. I will be right there." My father responds.

"So, same time next week?" He asks and the three of us nod. Zayn walks out first. I follow shortly after, Leo walking by my side.

I walked to Luna's car, who was waiting for me to be done. Leo walks over to his car, leaning against it, talking to Zayn who is leaning on his motorcycle, both legs off to one side, facing Leo, texting.

"Audrey!" I hear someone call, I turn to look into the field and see Elio walking over to me. I notice Leo step towards me only for Zayn to grab his arm and pull him back saying something.

"Hey, I haven't seen you in a while. I hear you've started your training that's great!" He smiles. I just stare at him

"I also see that you're still upset with me. I didn't realize this whole Zayn thing was going to make you so angry. Especially since you still hate him and all." He attempts an apology. I still just stare at him, glancing at Leo to see him watching Elio and I with cautious eyes, Zayn still has a firm grip on his arm, holding him in front of him, scrolling on his phone with the other hand.

"Why are you even here?" I finally speak up. "We don't train together anymore, there's no reason for you to be here."

"I just figured I'd come to see you, try and make up for lying to you." He shrugged. "Do you want to take a walk down to the gravel pits? Talk a bit?" He tries, his tone hinting that he means something more than talking. I hear Leo say something to Zayn but can't make out what he says. Zayn just pulls him closer, between his legs. Not letting him go, glaring at Leo slightly as he responds.

"Yeah, no, Elio. Look I've got to go." I spoke. "I'm supposed to be meeting Zayn soon for training, and I want to get there early and work on some things first." I shrug, lying. I then climb into Luna's car. My eyes meet Zayn's as I close the door. He sends me a small smile before putting on his helmet. He looks at Leo, saying something with a shake of his head before revving the motor and speeding down the driveway.

My eyes meet Leo's as he turns to face me, he looks at me for a while before turning to get into his car. His eyes met mine again as he closes the door before pulling out of the driveway.

I watch Elio walk back to the field before turning to Luna with a sigh.

"Want to go get some fro-yo? You look like you need fro-yo." She asks and I laugh, nodding my head.

She backs out and drives down the driveway, making our way to the ice cream parlor.

"So, are you planning on ever moving back in with your parents? I mean when you take over that whole place will be yours." She asks "Not that I am kicking you out! Stay as long as you want, I love having the company. I was just wondering."
