Twenty Seven

A/N: here is a chapter to feed my starving children. my chapters are finally uploading and i was so excited that i created two new stories whoops :( 

We all finished gearing up and Nancy came by to inspect every single thing we made. She made sure our shields were perfect and no nails were falling out. She was especially proud of Erica and her knot tying skills.

She checked Steve and Robins progress and suggested they make extra just in case because "being over prepared helped me pass my physics exam" but I think she just liked watching Robin work.

"Charlie, can I talk to you please?" Nancy asked me, pulling me aside before I even reacted.

"What's up, Nance?" I looked at her.

"What's up Nance? Really? You go ahead and act like that RV didn't reek of you and Eddie tangled up on the floor together," Nancy whisper yelled.

"Woah! Hold up, was there a problem with that? Because you've done it in weirder places, like Murray's house! Murray!" I started whisper yelling too.

"We're literally twins, I can feel your mind bursting. All I'm saying is that now is maybe not the time," Nancy suggested.

"We're literally twins but this was my first time, so bug off. Besides I think you need to rethink your relationship with Johnathan," I smirked.

"Nothing is going to happen with Steve," Nancy rolled her eyes at me.

I felt "Oh, not Steve. Robin. I see you looking at her like she's the last glass of water in the world."

Nancy turned red. "I have no idea what you're talking about. And besides, she's Steve's friend, I think it would be a bit weird."

"As weird as me and Eddie curled up onto the floor in a ball while he absolutely dest-"

"Okay! Jeez! Don't go into any details," Nancy groaned.

I looked over and saw Eddie, Robin and Steve giving us funny looks.

"Guess who's watching you?" I smirked and walked away, leaving my sister to deal with her silly little awakening :)

"Hey darling. What's Nance Pants up to?" Eddie asked as he hugged me.

"Oh, you know, just stuff," I smiled at my boyfriend. "Robin, Nancy wanted to talk to you, privately," I told Robin, with a wink.

Eddie kissed my temple. "What was that about, doll?"

"You'll understand sooner or later, right Stevie?" I asked Steve who was sitting next to us.

"Oh please, I give them another five minutes and they'll come out of the RV smiling and giggling," Steve said.

"You're on Harrington," I grinned.

"What are you talking about?" Eddie asked, confused.

I whispered to him, "Remember what we did five hours ago?"

His eyes widened, "Oh. Oh! Oh." he smirked.

"It's getting dark, I just hope they get it done before something happens. Only the fate of the world is at stake. And also my future with my wife, six kids, two dogs, one cat and a salamander that Dustin promised to get me if I ever managed to keep a steady job for more than three years," Steve sighed, checking his watch.

"Well, Miss Charlie and I have some business to attend to behind that tree," Eddie pointed away from everyone. "Look after the kids for us, Harrington. Muah," Eddie blew a kiss to Steve before picking me up and carrying me somewhere private.

"Did you have to do that?" I smiled at him. "Can you put me down?"

"I want to spend time with you. And I can hold onto you when you're in my arms."

Eddie's hands held up my ass and I wrapped my legs around him. "Well, we've spent plenty of time together today Mr. Munson."

Eddie dropped his voice down low, "Baby I think I've always loved you. Even though we haven't known each other for long, I want to be with you for the rest of my life. Whether that be today or eighty years from now, I want you to be in it. Until the end of time."

"Eddie, where is this coming from?" I searched his eyes for some sort of sign, a glimpse of worry or distress.

"I just want you to know that I'll always love you and I'll always be a part of you," He leaned his head towards my forehead, kissing it.

"Ed, wait," I pushed him away, he let me go, my feet touching the ground.

"Did I do something wrong?" He looked like he was going to cry.

I looked up at him, "I want you to look at me. And I want you to be by my side. And I want to spend my life with you. And I want to go on crazy road trips with you to concerts. And I want to learn how to play guitar so I can play with you. I want you always and forever. So just for a few minutes, let's act like teenagers and kiss me until I'm absolutely breathless. Hold me until we go to the Creel house. Love me until the end of time, okay?"

Eddie's lips were on mine in an instant. It was fiery and fierce and it was holding us together. We stuck like glue and felt free and wild but also calm and put together.

I didn't realize I was crying until I felt a tear roll down my cheek. My back was pressed against a tree and my front was covered by Eddie. I cried for Jenny and Chrissy and Billy. And I kissed Eddie for the possibilities of tomorrow and the hopes for the future we would have together.

I let myself feel for the first time in a long time and forgot about the troubles ahead of us. I forgot about Max and Vecna and Nancy and Robin and Mike in California. I forgot about Jason Carver and the hellfire club.

I just wanted Eddie's lips on mine and his hands all over me. My hands were pulling at his jeans and up his shirt and anywhere I could touch. I wanted to be cared for and loved and we fit perfectly together. His body in rhythm with mine and my moans in connection to his movements.

I felt alive and aroused and it felt like we've known each other all our lives. It felt like we were the only two people in the world.
