The moment he woke up, Alex wasted no time.

He discarded his uniform and slipped into another one from his hanger, and instantly barged out of his room to find Nathan, so he could warn him, or verbally fight with him regarding Violet, depending on whether he was stubborn about it or not.

Firstly, he tried banging on his door but got no response. He did this at 7:42 am, so Nathan could've already had a chance to get up and go elsewhere, leading Alex to grunt and begin his thorough search around the facility.

He walked around with a small carton of apple juice in hand, sipping it every few minutes as he wandered around down the morning halls through various rooms, in an attempt to try and track Nathan down so that he could warn him of Violet's manipulative tactics.

While walking around, however, the thought of Nathan being aware of it crossed his mind. After all, if he was clueless, he'd have to be incredibly oblivious to those around him. He hoped he was simply unaware, so he could easily tell him the truth about her. But if he knew and was allowing himself to be manipulated like he was, he'd be in for a world of hurt.

After around 10 minutes of searching, Alex finally shoved open the double doors of the cafeteria, to find both Nathan and Violet sitting on top of two tables, leisurely chatting away together.

Alex gulped nervously and whispered "shit" under his breath, as he slowly began to approach them with a forced smile on his face, not knowing how he was going to play this off because Violet was awkwardly here with him.

"Heeeey, you guys!" He greeted as he stumbled his way to a chair some fair distance away from them both.

"Oh, good morning my cheery best friend!" Violet sarcastically addressed with her knuckles pressed against her cheek, as though attempting to form a 'cute' expression of some kind.

"Yeaaah, haha..." he replied.

"What is it, Mr. Alex?" Nathan asked curiously.

Alex then turned to Nathan, appearing unimpressed as though he just knocked off his cheerful facade, before taking a deep breath.

"Alright, cut the shit, you guys," he bluntly stated.

"What shit? What may be the problem, Alex?" Violet asked while poking her cheek expectedly.

"Nathan, why are you hanging around Violet? Are you two all buddy-buddy now? Huh?"

"Violet's a great girl at heart, Alex," Nathan replied in her defence, "you just only see the bad sides. Sorry for spittin' fax."

"Eeeeeeep, yes!" Violet squealed, clapping exaggeratively. "Yes, thank you, thank you, sweetie Nate! You're an angel!"

"S-sorry?" Alex sighed. "Are you okay? Had something to drink? The fuck?"

"No, Mr. Alec. I'm just good at giving second chances, unlike YOU people," Nathan said as he folded his arms and tutted in a condescending manner.

"A-are you- fucking for real? Lost your head? Like, what?"

"I'm not having inner course with four Saudi Arabian coins!" He bizarrely denied, despite that not being what Alex asked.

Alex gave no response to that but rather just continued to glance in disgust before instead looking over at Violet, who had a beaming false smile printed scarily on her pale face.

"Fuck are you looking at, freak? Wipe that smirk away," Alex commanded.

She then exhaled deeply before replying: "Alex? Please follow me to the back of the kitchen, if you wouldn't mind."
