Just came here to tell a beautiful truth. I always wonder "If we are saved by grace, why is there commandments? Why is there actions? Why should we do things and endure hardships?" But because of God's goodness, He leads me to the truth.
Yes, we are saved by grace. God loves us. Remember, the verse "We love because He first loved us"? He loves us so we can learn to love others. He loves you but He loves them too. He is love and He loves us all. You are saved because of God's grace and you have to let others know that too. He loves us so we can learn how to love. Love is not a word, it's an action. So, why should we obey? It's because God wants you to love others. He is using you to let others know that He loves them too. Pain created testimony and testimony creates love. Testimony brings you to love, to God. You have to be on the likeness of God to let others know He lives. You have to act and to do what you cannot do, so people will know He is the living God. HE IS USING YOU. He loves you and He wants to use you to let other know that too! So, obeying and taking action is nothing without love and sincerity. Because God wants you to love them, see them, care for them like He does. Obeying will not make you love, love will make you obey. How will people know God lives if you will not obey God and act? In fact, if the past generation didn't love, how will you be able to watch sermons and to read the translated Bible? It's hard to act, obey, love sometimes. But remember that God loves you, and He will use you to set other free too.
