Daily Agency Report by Doppo Kunikida:
Today, a case was taken up by Osamu Dazai and (Y/N) (L/N) to investigate recent disappearances. The police believed these disappearances to be a result of a gifted murderer.
Although Dazai believed that with his ability they would be protected from all harm of any gifted person, he turned out to be wrong.

"This should just be a quick in-and-out. Do not waste my time again and try to find some way to turn this into a double suicide, because I know you always can find some weird way to make it like that. Do you understand?"
"Yes, (Y/N), we already talked about this seven times. I also promised Kunikida the same thing three times before we left for this mission."
Currently, Dazai and you stood in front of an abandoned building on a mission to arrest a criminal gifted.
Recently, Detective Minoura had come to the agency to request two detectives to clear out the building and find out what was causing almost anyone who entered to disappear whenever they entered.
Obviously, Dazai jumped up at this opportunity. After all, if it was a gifted person causing these disappearances, he could just touch them and everything would be over. If it didn't work out, then he could at least die with the other person who gladly accepted the mission: you.
Honestly, you had no actually good reason for wanting to do the mission other than the fact that you were bored. You had been eating candy with Ranpo, laying down on top of his desk with him, when you heard the word "mission". You had then jumped up and yelled, "I'll take it!" Little did you know it was incredibly dangerous and your partner on the case would be none other than the lovable suicide maniac.
"Let's go in then," you hesitantly sighed. No matter how many times he promised people certain things, he could always still break it.
Once you granted him your permission to enter the building, he immediately skipped excitedly towards it. You only sighed before following him.
He skipped right to the entrance before pausing for you, gesturing a hand inside. "You can enter first!" He sent you a goofy grin at the end of his sentence.
Although sending him a glare, you did walk in first. The moment you entered though, you heard Dazai gasp and yell, "(Y/N)! (Y/N), I can't see you!" He dramatically placed a hand over his head before pretending to faint in your arms. "You've disappeared! Whatever shall I do!?"
You successfully caught him in your arms. Honestly, Dazai's jokes had taken a turn for the worse lately. "Dazai, you shouldn't joke about that. People are actually going missing here. We can't play around."
