You woke up strapped to a table and surrounded by eternal darkness. You were back in the leathery outfit which resembled a hospital gown. The air felt suffocating, and your eyes frantically darted around. You knew exactly where you were, and you were scared to death.
Panicking, you started writhing around in your binds until an emotionless voice spoke up next to you, "Good job on your latest mission, 9146. I hate to admit though that you still aren't good enough. Don't worry though, I'm here to change that. I'll make you better, my child. For Kimikage and Asakura's sake..."
Looking over, you saw a girl with long black hair in doctor's clothes. She showed no emotions on her face as she carried multiple surgery tools over to the table you were on.
As the medical tools started lowering towards your body, you screamed in fear and agony. Suddenly, you heard familiar voices around you. Everything was so loud, and people were screaming in your ears.
Then suddenly... everything went silent. The darkness enveloped you and you felt numb. All you could see was yourself as you fell through the void endlessly. You were surrounded by nothing but vast emptiness. It felt like you were losing air, as if you were drowning and falling at the same time. It was surprisingly warm and the scent of vanilla flooded your nose.
Honestly though, not even words could describe your current situation.

A few hours later, you opened your eyes. A bright light invaded your vision, and you winced and groaned slightly at the sudden intrusion of artificial light.
You felt a small weight on your leg, and looking down you noticed Dazai resting his head on top of you, sound asleep. Sasaki was awake next to you, and the moment you opened your eyes, she softly spoke, "good morning, (Y/N). Are you feeling better now?"
"I mean, I'm feeling as good as someone who just got shot with a bullet could be," you chuckled. "One question though: why is Dazai here?"
"Well, around an hour after Yosano treated you, you started murmuring things and looking like you were having a nightmare. People started freaking out while trying to calm you down. The moment Dazai hugged you though, you started acting calm. Although Kunikida started yelling out in exasperation, Atsushi looked like he was about to burst into tears, and Yosano looked incredibly jealous, they left us three alone in here. Yosano decided your mental health was more important than her own feelings. She's a really good person. You should keep her around."
